Mi è sempre piaciuto fare le cose. Dopo aver avuto il mio primo figlio ho aperto il mio primo negozio etsy, Acrylic and Steel per mostrare l'arte che avevo accumulato per anni e i coltelli forgiati a mano che mio marito produce. Volevo essere in grado di serigrafare per anni prima di acquistare i materiali di cui avevo bisogno per avviare questa attività, ma per qualche motivo ero preoccupato che non sarei stato in grado di farlo. Alla fine ho avuto il coraggio di provarlo e ho speso circa $ 100 in forniture per la serigrafia per il mio compleanno nell'aprile del 2010 (ho inventato il nome del negozio nel 2009, che è la data di apertura che mostra nel mio negozio) Ho pensato che sarebbe stato un hobby divertente, ma prima che me ne rendessi conto il mio negozio è decollato. Ora lo faccio a tempo pieno. Sono fortunato ad essere in grado di avere aiuto con la spedizione e altre attività d'ufficio durante i periodi di punta. È incredibilmente gratificante amare davvero ciò che faccio per vivere e adoro creare un prodotto unico per i miei clienti.

I have always liked to make things. After having my first child I opened my first etsy store, Acrylic and Steel to showcase the art I had been stockpiling for years and the hand forged knives my husband makes. I had wanted to be able to screen print for years before I purchased the materials I needed to start this business, but for some reason I was worried that I would not be able to do it. I finally got the nerve to try it and spent about $100 on screen printing supplies for my birthday in April of 2010 (I came up with the shop name in 2009, which is the open date that shows in my store) I thought it would be a fun hobby, but before I knew it my shop took off. Now I do this full time. I am lucky to be able to have help with shipping and other office tasks during busy times. It is amazingly gratifying to really love what I do for a living, and I love making a unique product for my customers.
