Frequently asked questions
What kind of paper should I print my digital downloads on?
The answer is, that it depends on what the product is. Cards, tags, bookmarks, and banners are best printed on heavyweight paper or cardstock. Candy bar wrappers are easier to fold if printed on typical 8.5 x11 printer paper, or a glossy printer paper for higher sheen.
For best results, be sure to buy the right type of paper for your printer. Multi-use paper is great for everyday at home printing, but may not provide you with the highest quality color contrast.
Can I print these digital downloads at home?
Yes, most of the designs fit on a standard 8.5x11 page, perfect for your home printer. Occasionally, some trimming may be required. If the file is formatted to print bigger than that size, (a poster, for example), I always specify that in the listing details. You can take/send those files to your favorite print shop. Please be aware that home printers vary in quality. Colors, vibrancy or sharpness may vary, and so you might choose to use your local printer for the highest quality instead.
Custom and personalized orders
I have two types of designs; some listings allow the customer to personalize and edit the designs themselves, and some do not.
The listings that are available for self-cusomization will be marked as such with the Corjl logo.
We also offer many non-editable designs, too. Most of my designs are fairly easy to alter on my end, so if you need something specific, send me a message and ask. I am usually able to help fill your request depending on the specifications you have in mind. A small customization fee may be applied.
Please contact me about possible alterations before you purchase, since all sales are final, and we do not accept exchanges.
Need something unique? Please contact me with inquiries about custom orders.
Similar items
You may find that many of our listings are similar in design. Variations in colors, and/or phrases necessitate the need for separate listings, as even these seemingly minor changes in design alter the look and meaning of each product. Each item is sold separately. Please be thoughtful and careful when selecting your product for purchase, seeing whereas we can not accept returns or exchanges due to the nature of digital products.
Can you print my order and ship it to me?
Yes, I would be happy to print and ship your order! However, additional charge for printing will apply. The cost will vary depending on the item and the quantity, but I would be happy to give you a quote before you commit to a purchase. Just contact me with the details and we can get started on your order. Orders are usually shipped within 2-3 business.
Why is the color dull/faded looking on my printed copies?
Check these 3 things for best color:
1: Your Printer. Home printers vary in quality and some simply do not have a large color range. Also, check your ink levels. Low levels can sometimes affect certain colors on a design.
2: Your Paper. Paper makes a huge difference in print quality. Use what is recommended for your brand of printer. Keep in mind that multi purpose paper is great for most things, but is not always great for color copies. Try using a coated, semi-gloss, or premium paper instead.
3: Consider printing elsewhere. If you aren't getting the results you want, you can always take the file in to your local print shop. They should be able to help
OR contact me. I may be able to print and ship to you. (Print fees may apply.)
