ABOUT CELIAC DAD
I didn’t start out planning to make checklists. I started out googling “is soy sauce gluten free” at 11pm, standing in my own kitchen, trying to figure out what was actually safe.
That’s the short version of how this shop happened. Someone in my house got diagnosed, and the advice out there split into two camps: vague reassurance (“you’ll get used to it!”) or forty-tab research rabbit holes with no clear answer at the end. Neither one tells you what to actually do on a Tuesday.
So I started writing it down — what to toss and what to wash, what to say when you call a restaurant, what actually goes on a card you hand a teacher. Not because I’m a doctor or a dietitian (I’m not, and nothing here replaces one), but because I’ve done the 11pm googling so you don’t have to start from zero.
Everything in this shop is built the same way: specific, checkbox-able, and written by someone who’s actually lived it — not scraped from a blog roundup. If something’s wrong or could be clearer, tell me. I’ll fix it.
