Siamo tre artisti: Nitsan e Nathan Kazaz, che creano insieme nel nostro studio di Gerusalemme, e Adi Kazaz, nel suo studio in Galilea, in Israele. Ognuno di noi si è innamorato del lavoro con l'argilla e presto ha sviluppato i propri percorsi unici. Pertanto siamo lieti di offrirvi un ampio spettro di tecniche, stili, colori e prodotti dal nostro negozio. Creiamo una serie di pezzi in gres belli e unici, ad alta cottura in forni elettrici, da argilla di qualità per mezzo di rullo di lastre, ruota e stampi.
Quindi, come è iniziato tutto ...
Nitsan e Nathan - Tutto è iniziato nel 2000. Nathan era a quel tempo un senior manager presso un'organizzazione Hi-Tech. I ricordi di se stesso come un bambino di 8 anni che amava lavorare con l'argilla cominciarono a risvegliarsi in lui. Io, Nitsan, sua moglie, abbiamo deciso che il mio regalo per il suo prossimo compleanno sarebbe stato un pacchetto di argilla e alcuni strumenti. La prossima cosa che sapevamo eravamo entrambi iscritti a un corso di ceramica in cui abbiamo presto scoperto il nostro grande desiderio per l'arte ceramica. Alla fine ci siamo ritrovati gli artisti di uno studio di argilla negli ultimi 13 anni. Quindi quello che originariamente doveva essere solo un regalo di compleanno da $ 50 ha finito per costarci uno studio completamente attrezzato!
Nathan è specializzato sulla ruota del vasaio insieme al suo amore per lo studio di nuove aree di lavorazione creativa dell'argilla tutto il tempo. Io, Nitsan, sono più attratto dal progettare, disegnare e decorare pezzi, compresi delicati e intricati disegni tagliati a mano su apparecchi di illuminazione del mio design, che sono tra i miei preferiti.
Dopo anni di studio e di esperienza di tanto del mondo della ceramica, il nostro negozio ci offre una fantastica opportunità di condividere la nostra arte con voi.
La nostra visione e il nostro scopo è creare pezzi che le persone possano godere quotidianamente in modo che l'arte diventi parte della loro vita.
Adi - "Mentre studiavo ceramica sono rimasto stupito nello scoprire che il mio corpo sapeva già come invasare e che la mia "parte" non doveva interferire con il processo. Il mio meraviglioso insegnante è quello che se ne è reso conto e quindi mi ha suggerito di chiudere semplicemente gli occhi mentre invasavo. È così che sono nati i miei primi vasi.
Lavorare con l'argilla mi connette a me stesso e crea una pace interiore dentro di me. Credo che questa pace interiore insieme alla grande gioia di creare, diventi parte integrante della ceramica che realizzo.
Il mio caro compagno di vita, Alon, è anche il mio partner nel processo creativo di ogni pezzo. Si eccita tanto quanto me e apprezza ogni tazza e teiera che nascono sulla ruota del mio vasaio. Si prende cura di ogni pezzo mentre carica il forno e non vede l'ora, proprio come me, di scaricare di nuovo ogni forno. È la mia mano destra nel processo di smaltatura e per sollevare tutti i carichi pesanti di argilla e altro ancora.
La mia ceramica è un atto d'amore e ogni pezzo è felice di raggiungere il suo nuovo proprietario che può apprezzarlo.
Qualsiasi altra cosa che deve essere detta sulla nostra ceramica sarà detta dai pezzi stessi. "

Nitsan, Nathan e Adi

We are three artists: Nitsan and Nathan Kazaz, creating together in our studio in Jerusalem, and Adi Kazaz, in her studio in the Galilee, in Israel. Each of us fell in love with working with clay and soon developed our own unique paths. Therefore we are happy to offer you a broad spectrum of techniques, styles, colors and products from our shop. We create an array of beautiful and unique stoneware pieces, high fired in electric kilns, from quality clay by means of slab roller, wheel, and molds.
So how did it all begin…
Nitsan and Nathan - It all began back in the year 2000. Nathan was at that time a senior manager at a Hi-Tech organization. Memories of himself as an 8 year old boy who loved to work with clay began to awaken in him. I, Nitsan, his wife, decided that my present to him for his upcoming birthday would be a package of clay and a few tools. The next thing we knew we had both signed up for a pottery class in which we soon discovered our great yearning to ceramic art. In the end we found ourselves the artists of a clay studio for the past 13 years. So what was originally meant to be just a $50 birthday present ended up costing us a fully equipped studio!
Nathan specializes on the potter's wheel along with his love of investigating new areas of creative clay work all the time. I, Nitsan, am drawn more towards designing, drawing and decorating pieces, including delicate, intricate hand cut designs on light fixtures of my design, which are among my favorites.
After years of studying and experiencing so much of the world of ceramics, our shop gives us a fantastic opportunity to share our art with you.
Our vision and purpose is creating pieces that people can enjoy on a daily basis so that art becomes part of their life.
Adi - “While studying pottery I was amazed to discover that my body already knew how to pot, and that my “part” was not to interfere with the process. My wonderful teacher is the one that realized it and thus suggested that I simply shut my eyes while potting. That is how my first pots were born.
Working with clay connects me to myself and creates an inner peace inside of me. I believe that this inner peace together with the great joy of creating, becomes an integral part of the pottery that I make.
My dear life partner, Alon, is also my partner in the creative process of each piece. He gets just as excited as I do and appreciates each mug and teapot that are born on my potter's wheel. He cares for each piece as he loads the kiln, and can hardly wait, just like me, to unload each kiln anew. He is my right hand in the glazing process and for lifting all the heavy loads of clay and more.
My pottery is an act of love and each piece is happy to reach its’ new owner that can appreciate it.
Anything else that needs to be said about our pottery will be said by the pieces themselves.”
