CatsPaw Ceramic Stoneware Beads are handmade in my studio in Northern Minnesota. While trying to develop a market for event specific products, I took a small basket of beads I'd made with my event products to a sale. The response was amazing! People loved the beads and the entire basketful sold, while at the end of the sale I was left with a lot of obsolete event products! I realized beads were the answer to my dream of finding a small niche market for my pottery. The next 7 months were spent in intense product development, and the beads became a really good product. Four years later, with a lot development and thousands of beads, I now feel confident that I am offering you unique, great beads for your projects.

The round stoneware beads are fired to cone 6, approximately 2223 degrees. They are quite tough and I've had them bounce across gym floors and my ceramic tile floors with no damage. The pendants are more fragile, and must be handled with the same care as any fine piece of jewelry. So, enjoy the beads!
