About

One of a kind Ceramic Art Made with ❤ in Brussels

I discovered ceramics in the Academy of Fine Arts in Anderlecht (Brussels). In 2002 I opened my own studio, where I work until now. I mainly use white stoneware. Clay is modeled entirely manually. Formed objects are left to dry for several days, then fired for the first time at 950°C. (biscuit firing). Enamelling is done with a brush, then items go back in the kiln for a second firing, between 1060°C and 1250°C, depending on the glaze. After this process the ceramics is ready to expose :)

Frequently asked questions
Are all ceramics handmade?

Yes, all of the items featured on this site are handmade by me.

Are these food, microwave & dishwasher safe?

YES, YES, YES - although, hand washing is always recommended. It is kinder to handmade ceramics than the chemicals in dishwashers.

Gift wrapping and packaging

I do not offer gift wrapping, because then I can't be sure the item is well packet and protected contra damage.
But - I mostly attach decorative bag and message label, in case you are planning to offer my product as a gift, so you just have to wrap by yourself.

What should I know about shipping and tracking for my order?

All items are sent via bPost ( belgian post ) as an registered parcel. It provides secure delivery with possible compensation in case of loss or damage. It also allows you to track your delivery online at any time.

I combine shipping when you purchase multiple items. In that case the system may overcharged postage fee. If it's so - I issue refund of overpaid shipping.
