About

Warmth & Family

"Chaleur" is French for "warmth", nothing conveys warmth to me more than yarn! From socks to blankets to hats to scarves, so many things we knit and crochet are made to keep us warm.
Here at Chaleur our goal is to provide hand dyed yarn at a reasonable price. We are a small, family operation and our children help us choose the photos that inspire our colorways. Family is important to us, which is why we've chosen to have a home-based business. Working from home provides us the opportunity to spend more time with our children while also teaching them work ethic and other real world skills.

Come check out our Facebook page to see our hand dyed yarn before they're listed and to be a part of the occasional giveaway!

I am a stay at home mom with an addiction to buying yarn. The problem is I can't knit or crochet fast enough to keep up! Dying and selling yarn is my way of getting yarn without the guilt ;)
