Announcement   Vintage Stuff! Handmade Too!

Vintage and handmade items for the home, clothing jewelry, trims, buttons, ribbons, millinery, plus. Who could ask for anything more?

I am an artist and collector, and by day I restore chandeliers and other mysterious antique lights that have been tucked away and forgotten for years. I take off paint from ceilings, rust and dirt from garages and basements and bugs from the attic, and scrub, paint, rewire, primp and repair every thing that comes our way at The Antique Lighthouse.
By night I make jewelry, blog a bit, just my thoughts and stories htttp://mysideof thecircle [!at] blogspot.com and cook and bake wonderful treats. I like to work with all kinds of different mediums, so in between the vintage in my shop are little items made by me.

Teams:

Etsy's Vintage Street Team, the Vesties
Handmade Philly.com
Heartsy
Philadelphia Love Team
The foxes Den
and something else I joined yesterday by accident.

Listed on Etsy's Front Page! Give me a tweet,

(chandeluse.twitter.com) convo me, leave a favorite or visit my

blog: http://mysideofthecircle.blogspot.com always glad to

talk, trade stories and assist with private requests.

Thanks all who put me in their treasuries, too many to continue listing, but I send hugs to each one of you!

About

I needed an outlet for all that I have collected and Made.

I started selling just vintage, but I had made hats for 9 years, along with all accessories. I do not have a complete line yet so you will find my handmade items interspersed with my vintage collectibles from all eras.

I have been a stained glass artist and a hairdresser, I did logos for companies when I was in high school and designed tiles for a company when Dad did not want to do it. Sometimes in an old diner, I will see those tiles there.

I made jewelry for years, as well as 9 years as Megusta, a millinery business and then when the hat business slowed, I added applique or transfer pillows, scarves and tote bags.

I made all my clothes growing up and am still obliged to shorten everything from jeans (Thank whoever came back with capri's) to socks. Really, if you have cool size 5 shoes, convo me!!

I went to art school which did not help but my Dad taught me everything. I just cannot stop with one craft. I have done them all and am an A-1 Trash picker/ vintage collector.

I am glad you are here. I will continue to offer a wide collection of items including handmade, supplies, and vintage items. If it seems like I might have something you do not see listed, convo me and I will look around. There are more buttons, ribbons, flowers, hat blocks etc. than I can list, but I am going to try, including continuing to make items. Let me know which you like best, or even give me a critique about what I can do better. I may regret that last one, but I am trying hard to make a success of this. I enjoy the Etsy society immensely, and it is a great place to show my works and collections.
Thank you for visiting.

I do not do returns, but if something has come apart, or is unnaturally distressed please convo me.
If it is something you do not like, or is not what you expected, that is not a reason for a return. I dislike having to say this but I have had a problem with one buyer, and that buyer has made me make this statement.
