'We have everything we need right here, and everything we need is enough.'

Welcome to Drawn to Help, a monthly art project inspired by LainyArt's 366 Project (please visit her Etsy page, as well, and take part in her wonderful cause: )

Starting in May 2012, I have been creating themed artwork as part of this project - 30 original ACEOs per theme, with the theme based around a good cause. The causes range from the local to the international, and include art, music, the environment, providing impoverished people with food and water, and so on.

The breakdown is this: Every time you purchase an ACEO here, a specified amount will go toward the charity specified in its description. The remainder of the cost is there to cover the cost of art supplies, shipping materials, and Etsy fees.

(Note that I am not personally employed or authorized by the beneficiaries of any of these projects. They're generally picked by a combination of recommendation and popular vote by fans of the artwork.)

Thank you so much for visiting, and I hope you will take part and spread the word - and even take up a cause of your own as time permits.

All the best.

Refunds and Exchanges
Because all profits (beyond material and shipping costs) are to be donated each month, refunds are not possible with the ACEO Drawn to Help project.

However, if the work suffers damage in transit, I will send a high-resolution scan of the purchased image for you to make a quality print for personal use, along with permission to do so.

Exchanges may also be possible in cases where the buyer's decision changes, depending on availability of a desired replacement. In such a case, the originally purchased item must be in excellent condition upon return, and buyer assumes responsibility for shipping charges within the exchange. The exchange must be approved by the seller beforehand.
Additional policies and FAQs
Care suggestions: Most pieces in this shop have been drawn on acid-free Bristol board cotton-fibre based board, or watercolour paper and coated with UV-protective fixative to ensure a long, happy life, free from fading or discolouring. However, there are a few things you can do to keep it looking great: When hanging the picture, try to choose a place which is free from heavy damp or steam, and which does not receive direct, harsh sunlight. While handling cards, especially those with carbon or charcoal (black) as part of their composition, try to handle them by the edges to avoid loosening pigment or transferring skin oils on to the image.

Wherever possible, environmentally-friendly materials (e.g. recycled, manufactured using wind energy, harvested from tree-free and renewable sources, etc.) have been used, including in packaging materials.

2014 Update: In light of recent events, it should also be noted that none of the materials used to create the work in this shop were purchased at Hobby Lobby, nor will it be in the future.
