I received my bacon and egg garland on time and I couldn't be happier with it! This is going to be an awesome part of our annual Baconfest decorations this year. So excited for our guests to love it too 🐷🐷

Chaotic & Collected is an online shop featuring cute lil' garlands & confetti (plus some other pretty paper goods from time to time). Every item in the shop is specially created and handmade with a whole lot of love from the shop owner, Jess Downey.

In her former life, Jess was a dating blogger. Her claim to fame was beating out Beyonce for the #1 Google spot for All the Single Ladies. But then she met a pretty awesome guy and they decided to get married. Her dating blog died and a lifestyle blog, Chaotic & Collected, was born. It captures the essence of life -- sometimes it's smooth sailin' and sometimes it's anything but. And it gave Jess an outlet for her creativity.

After she DIYed the heck out of her wedding, she craved more. Another place to spread her love for creativity, crafts, DIY, and homemade things. And it was through that love that her online store, Chaotic & Collected, was born. Here you will find all kinds of unique garlands and other pretty paper goods for birthdays, parties, weddings, gifts, home decor, and all sorts of other fun occasions that happen in your life. Items are added often and suggestions are always welcome.

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
For Regular Orders

Here’s how we work refunds, exchanges, and so on for regular orders:

>You may cancel your order and be refunded the full price within 24 hours of your purchase.

>If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, we would be happy to offer a refund or exchange. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can't offer a refund or exchange.

>To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

>Downloadable products cannot be returned.

>Refunds will be processed only once the item(s) have been received.

>We work to be sure that all items are packaged with care, but if somehow your product is damaged please send us a message within 48 hours of receiving your item and we’ll fix it.

>Please note that you will be responsible for any shipping costs associated with the return/exchange of the item and that shipping costs for the original item are non-refundable.

For Custom Orders

Here’s how we work refunds, exchanges, and so on for special/custom orders:

>You may cancel your order and be refunded the full price (minus a $10 designing and production fee) within 24 hours of your purchase.

>After 24 hours, you may cancel your order and receive a partial refund until the item has gone into final production (which is generally after your final approval). Once the item has gone into final production, unfortunately, we are not able to offer a refund or an exchange (we'll still send the item to you though).

>Due to the nature of custom orders, we are not able to offer a refund or an exchange after you've received your order.

>We work to be sure that all items are packaged with care, but if somehow your product is damaged please send us a message within 48 hours of receiving your item and we’ll fix it.
Payment
We accept all major debit/credit cards, PayPal, and Etsy gift cards.
Shipping
All orders will ship within no more than 7-10 business days from the date of payment unless otherwise stated. Special orders may take longer. All packages will be sent via USPS. All orders are sent via standard mail, unless noted otherwise.

You can trust that your order will be quickly processed and safely delivered. Each package is inspected for quality before shipping.

Please note that we can only guarantee our time frame. Once the package leaves our hands it is solely dependent on the post office.

We are not responsible for any additional costs for international shipping. We are not responsible for delays or any other issues due to customs.

We are not responsible for delays in shipments due to incorrect addresses or other issues with the post office (or other package carriers).

We totally love custom orders. In fact, we think they're the bees knees. Whether it's your wedding, a friend's bachelorette party, your daughter's birthday party. a holiday fave, something to spruce up your office cubicle, or just something to make you do a lil' happy dance when you walk through the door we can totally help you out. We've done simple things like changing the color or size of a dino and hard stuff like taking a logo and turning it into a fab garland. We'll attempt (almost) anything. This Privacy Policy describes how and when I collect, use, and share information when you purchase an item from me, contact me, or otherwise use my services through Etsy.com or its related sites and services.

Frequently asked questions

I really like your style, but I don't see exactly what I want. Can you make it for me?

Absolutely! We've designed love birds for bridal showers, cervix and ovaries for cubicle decor, unicorns for birthday parties, and pumpkin spice lattes just because. We've even made some fun stuff out of business logos.

So basically we're saying, if you have something in mind we can probably do it.

Prices vary based on style, items requested, materials used, and difficulty of the project. Message us for details!

How long will it take to receive my order?

All orders ship within 7-10 days from the date that your payment has been received.

Special/custom orders will take longer depending on the item.

Is it possible to get my item sooner?

It's possible! Our timeline is based on what's in our queue. So, if you're looking for something in a speedier time, just send us a message and we'll try work with you!

Can I get something in a different color?

Absolutely! We have tons of cardstock. In fact, we're pretty obsessed with it. So if you need something in a different color we likely have it and are happy to make it for you. Just send us a message.

Is it possible to order a higher quantity than what you have listed?

You sure can! We list based on what we have currently in stock. In most cases, we can make a higher quantity with supplies we have available (we're basically paper hoarders). If we don't have it in stock, we'll hunt it down (you have no idea how much paper there is in the world). We may need a little extra processing time, but send us a message and we'll do everything we can to make it happen.
