These bamboo cups are fantastic. I work with wood very often and I plan to stain my cups to match my tea pot. Charissa helped me with information about the wood and even set me a sample to practice with to see if the stain would hold well and that I may experiment different grit sandpaper on. Wood burning and such as well. Over all if I buy anymore it will definitely be from her.

Creating sculpture, installations, and small items out of bamboo, glass, and thread

I've been working as an artist since 1994, creating works out of natural materials, glass, paper, and thread. In 1999 I discovered bamboo and started working with it. I have not been able to put it down, it is such a mystifying material. I love that when I gather bamboo I am not harming the plant, but instead, helping it.
