About

Passing on my love of literature, creativity, and liquid indulgences.

This started as a hobby shortly before I married my incredible husband. He had encouraged me to leave my job at the time to better heal from an aggravated back injury. From there, I dabbled first in jewelry making while planning our wedding. We've since moved a handful of times. Met in CT, spent a little time in Washington State, moved to South Carolina, back to Washington State and are now stationed back in South Carolina. There are a couple more moves in our future before we are finally able to settle down and create our own home base.

My shop has been through quite a few changes in that time, as I've grown and changed and our lives and grown and changed. And I hope to continue changing for the better as I learn, adapt, and grow as a person, as s wife, and as a mother.

I've made a recent change to the shop, one that I'm quite happy with, and feel like an even higher level of love energy is being passed into each piece I offer. Being the avid bookworm I am, and the love of literature and other forms of fiction, I have focused more of my energies on a wider variety of bookmarks.

I have also started offering wine glass charms, inspired by regular Sunday night dinners (usually followed by watching The Walking Dead) with some very close friends of ours. Not only do we share small tastings of wine, but also beer, and tea and coffee. We often use very small stemmed glasses, but also have used the fill sized stemmed glasses. Quite often we are moving around quite a bit because we do quite a bit of cooking from scratch, so we were consistently forgetting whose drink was whose. We started using the few wine glass charms my friend already owned, not only on the wine glasses, but when doing tastings in tiny cordial glasses with beer, and even on our mugs for tea and coffee.

I also offer a variety of crocheted items all relating to books, and drinks. Cozies, coaster sets, washcloths, and the occasional place mat sets.

We now have a child, a beautiful, beautiful child and I'm blessed with being able to stay at home with her. I would love to continue to be able to do so, doing the things I love, and to hopefully pass that passion on to my daughter. I often think fondly on re-learning crochet while pregnant with her, and just how much pregnant-brain and mommy-brain made that challenge all the more interesting!

Our daughter will soon be entering school for the first time, so this is another milestone in our personal lives, one that I look forward to, but as with most mothers... feel a bit of anxiety, apprehension and pride about. However, I am trying to view it as positive as possible, not only for her own growth and change, but also to the additional time it will afford me to put even more love into my shop.

You can keep up with my process, test projects, photography and other fun things through Facebook and other social media from the links riiiight over there ------>

I'm Mary, a stay at home mother of a toddler, and a wife to an amazing member of the U.S. Navy. You should talk to my mom, she's my biggest fan! All jokes aside, I'm a crafty person who loves to share the joy I get from creating. Hope you like them!
