Listing specified that the Items are USED. Was such a nice customer, then stabs in the back rather than coming to me to work it out....sad
If you have a watch part that you simply lust after and can't find, please email me photos, I'll dig through my THOUSANDS of parts to see if I can't find it for you! I can't possibly list everything that I have!
I know it is a lot of reading, but please read all listing information, shop policies, and shipping information! Occasionally I'll hide a discount in the text of one of my listings. Please read listings carefully. If you find one of these offers, PLEASE contact me. My memory isn't what it used to be before I was hit in a crosswalk! I WILL likely forget your premium unless you remind me!
I am located in Canada but I drive to the US every week. If you prefer your order shipped from the US, please let me know! Canada is not part of USPS, please don't expect your order in 3 days! US Customs is often the hang-up, causing indeterminable delays. 2 weeks is the average delivery time. I can not guarantee deliver time. Other shipping packages are available if you want a delivery date guarantee.
Discounts for large purchases are as follows:
10% upon the purchase of 10 listings, 25% upon the purchase of 25 listings. A "listing" is usually a small group of watch movements, but can be up to hundreds of gears in 1 bag. All individual listings count as one unit. Wholesale is 100 identical units IF I have the stock.
Please visit my other shops on http://ModaDesigns.etsy.com http://journeyinjewellery.etsy.com http://SPOAB.etsy.com http://tickandtype.etsy.com Purchase of items from my shop imply that you are in agreement with my shop policies, that you are not underage, and that you will pay as soon as possible.
Accepted payment methods
Purchases canceled after the sale will receive neutral feedback unless there is a really good reason. "testing the system" and buyer's remorse are not good reasons!
To my American and other foreign land customers; While I may drop your mail in the local box within hours, this country's postal system is not as advanced as yours, nor is your Custom's Office holding times!
Optionally, I drive to the US every other week to ship. If you are in a hurry, please email me as to when I plan to again drive to the US! Other options are available from within Canada.
Purchase of insurance is highly recommended. If a package is damaged contact me immediately! Together we will come to a satisfactory arrangement. Your purchase will be reshipped immediately if you purchased insurance.
****If you reject the option to buy insurance on your package, and it fails to arrive at it's destination, I can issue no refunds.***** However, I am willing to assist recovery in every way possible!
Refunds and Exchanges
If you are unhappy with your purchase, PLEASE CONTACT ME IMMEDIATELY! Lack of communication is to no one's benefit! And leaving statements of dissatisfaction via feedback is like telling the mailman that your milk went bad; it might get back to the grocer, and then again it might not! Needless to say, the grocer won't be very happy & is unable to satisfy a customer who won't talk to him face-to-face.

Custom orders are always welcome! If you need more quantity of an item I have listed, please email me with your request.
Wholesale options are outlined above. Free Consignment is NOT an option.
Money refunded, in cases of inaccurate descriptions, ONLY upon receipt of the item in the return mail.
Measurements are approximate, even if not stated. Watches can differ in measurement from one spot to the other. Curved objects are the hardest to measure. If there is a coin, compare to that. US and Canadian ONE CENT coins measure 19mm.
*My stating that an antique watch movement is "working" usually means that the gears react positively to winding up of the stem. In cases where there is no face/dial, I can not tell if the watch works consistently, continuously, or correctly. Antique watches are very delicate instruments. I can not offer guarantees that the watch will arrive safely in the mail. And since Canada Post only insures delivery of a package, not the condition it is delivered in, postal insurance does not cover misalignment or breakage during shipping. Returns of non-functioning watches are allowed only if the watch is sold in it's complete form (inside a case and on a band) and when it states returnability! And only if it is returned to me in it's complete form, in it's case, without any outward signs of tampering. Please ask before you buy how I cover loss/breakage for any item of interest.
Facts about the "Genuine Ruby" pieces. The Corundum Conundrum!
The Ruby pieces in these watches and the jewellery made with them are genuine, but are probably man-made. As it was explained to me, whether it is man-made or nature-made, the structural form is identical. So while stone workers may scoff at their pedigree, these are genuine Rubies. They are not synthetic, glass, or plastic...
I'm totally on board with the whole "name it right" train! I'm particularly upset when it comes to calling common gravel "Opal"! That is about how bad it gets with this new idea of "Trade Names"! 90% of the "jade" out there is not even close to real Jade, some of it is nothing but glass! Most of it is Serpentine, which is as common as gravel. It is given names like "green jade", "new jade", "ching hai jade", "olive jade", "peridot jasper", and many other names, new names weekly arising, to try to sell common rock at horribly inflated prices! Let me tell you something they don't want people knowing...Serpentine in it's fibrous form is Asbestos!! All Asbestos is Serpentine, not all Serpentine is Asbestos. And the cousin of Asbestos is true Jade, both in it's darkened form-Nephrite, and the lighter form-Jadeite.
All that useless trivia, just to show off a little! ^_~ I understand the real-vs.-fake debate and feel confident calling these Genuine Ruby, even though they may be lab-grown. Since I am no gemologist, I can't examine them and tell you which were lab-grown & which were not.
One more note, if the stone pieces are clear, pink, or blue coloured, they are not Rubies, they are Sapphires, that's how close the two stones are! They are both classified as Corundum. Sapphires come in a range of colours; yellow, green, aqua, blue, clear, pink, orange, and purple. Only the red ones are classified as Rubies. This solves the Corundum Conundrum!
