Pastry Chef Turned Milliner
So almost 5 years ago I really wanted this amazing pillbox hat. My husband said it was too expensive so I tried making it myself. After completing an amazing hat I was hooked and devoted my free time to learning the traditional art of millinery. I studied under Joy Scott in Chicago and got the basics to get me going.
Since then it's been a whirlwind of crazy hats coming out of my shop. I've gone from glue gunning cardboard and fabric to creating 100% hand sewn beauties. I strive to make each hat quirky, one of a kind fascinators, hats, and headpieces perfect for all occasions.
I've been worn to the Grammy's, been on the New York Fashion Runway, The Carrie Diaries, Disney and to hat lovers all over the world.
I cannot believe how far I've come and can't wait to see where I'm going. - Amanda
Owner, Maker, Designer
For the past 3 years I've been living, eating, and breathing the world of millinery. I started making hats for myself but found out quickly that I wouldn't be able to keep them long as people were buying them off my head.
Ex-Pastry Chef Turned Milliner
In the past year it has grown from felt baubles to the actual art in millinery. I have studied under Joy Scott and most of the hat blocks I've hand carved myself.
In the two years my hats have been seen at The Grammys, on a New York fashion runway, Kiki magazine, major print, and on many stylish ladies.
Everything is done by hand in my studio. Each stitch my own. I hope you enjoy my crazy creations as much as I do.
Please note that hat colors may be slightly different than pictured depending on your computer screen.
