Custom and personalized orders
ChellyWoodDotCom does not do custom orders, but Chelly Wood does accept suggestions for her upcoming sewing projects. You may suggest an idea for free sewing patterns by hitting the "Submit a Question" button on Chelly's blog, ChellyWood.com.
Why does shipping cost so much?
Chelly Wood only uses "flat rate" shipping boxes for mailing her creations for several reasons: a.) the box is sturdy b.) this makes the shipping price predictable, regardless of the distance, and c.) the unfolded boxes are easy to store and keep on hand for quicker shipping.
Why won't you ship outside the US?
Each country has its own customs policies, and they can vary greatly. For example, did you know a person cannot mail a felt hat to Ireland? That's right. It's against the law. Chelly Wood is not a lawbreaker, but she also doesn't have time to research each country's customs policies before shipping. Therefore, she only ships within the United States. It keeps her shipping responsibilities simple and quick to process. That way she can get her products to you lickety-split!
