The colors are really pretty but the yarn sheds a lot when working with it and it’s very dry/hard feeling.

I hate leaving a less that 5 star rating. Shipping was slower than I had hope and color wasn’t solid. I know it’s chancy when it’s hand dyed, but I was hoping it was more solid to be used for what I needed.

About

Making yarn is what I do.

It started on a whim. I found Etsy in 2009 and thought, "I want to be apart of that." I was always making something, and this seemed like a great way to create to my hearts content.

However, I had no high hopes of making a living out of my little shop. At first, I started doing what enjoyed at the time. Sew. I made bags, kits, and accessories. It was fun, but definitely aimless. I wanted to settle on one subject, I liked to sew, but it wasn't my passion. My passion was knitting.

I started knitting 10 or so years ago and I found it all incredibly fascinating. I loved the idea of making the fabric, and the garment all in one swing. But even this didn't satisfy me. Knitting wasn't enough. I wanted to delve deeper, I wanted to make the yarn itself.

That was the first time I had a direction that I wanted to go in. I wanted my shop to become all about yarn and hand knit items. And it has!

At the moment, I make mostly t shirt yarn, which is just a joy to make. I love the entire process. Designing color combinations, using different dyes and paints to create what I want. I'm always experimenting. It's great because there is little waste. What I don't use is then donated to USAgain.

    I'm Jenny. My shop name is a nickname that I was given as a child that has stuck with me for 37 years. I've been knitting for 18 years, spinning my own yarn for 8, and making t shirt yarn for 7 years.

Please read my policies before making your purchase. An informed customer, is a happy customer. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me, I check my emails several times a day and try to get back to customers in the same day.

All of my items are cut, dyed, and packaged on a made to order basis. Please see shipping times before ordering. I have no yarns ready made.

Returns and exchanges
I gladly accept returns, exchanges, and cancellations
Contact me within: 7 days of delivery
Ship items back within: 14 days of delivery
Request a cancellation within: 24 hours of purchase
The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)

Please if you have any problems with your order.
If for some reason you are unhappy with the item, please contact me. I want my customers to be satisfied. Even if you are not happy with my yarn for some reason, I want you to be satisfied with the return process. Returns are never a problem as long as they are within the 7 day period.

I will not issue any refunds until the yarn has been returned to me. After that I will send issue a refund asap. SHIPPING COSTS ARE NON REFUNDABLE

Please do this within 7 days of it being delivered to you. After 7 days I will not accept any returns on purchased items.

I do not accept returns on custom orders, since they are customized to a specific buyer and therefore cannot be resold. Please keep this in mind when requesting a custom order.

I am not responsible for damaged or lost packages. If your package is lost in the mail I will do everything I can to try and track it down. If it cannot be located I will refund the price of the yarn only, shipping charges are non refundable.


MISTAKES/INCORRECT ORDER POLICY

Mistakes happen and we've all been there. Sometimes orders may be incorrect. If that is the case then you have my deepest apologies and I will make it my top priority to correct the mistake in a timely manner. If I have given you too much of an item or the wrong color I will make the correct items and send them to you the quickest way possible (usually priority mail). I will also send along a prepaid envelope for you to send back the incorrect items. Usually items sent back to me are sent via first class mail so you can simply put the items in the envelope and set them in your mailbox for the mailman to pick up on his regular route, no trip to the post office, no scheduled pick ups needed.

I do not allow customers to keep mistakes or incorrect orders. I realize that some shop owners do this in order to avoid uncomfortable situations, but I do not agree with this type of business practice. An even exchange is the best policy in my opinion. Stock returned to me can be resold at another time, this is my business and my only source of income, and I ask that you be respectful of my policies and adhere to them if you purchase from me.
Payment
I accept Paypal, and Direct checkout, and Etsy gift cards.

I will not begin a custom order until it has been paid for.

If I do not receive payment I will contact you to remind you. Things happen, and I am understanding of this. However, if a week has gone by (7 days from the date of purchase) and I have not received payment, or I have not heard from you I will cancel the sale immediately.

Buyers in Missouri must pay sales tax.
Shipping
Please understand that paying for shipping is more than just paying for the stamp itself. Shipping costs cover: the envelope it is shipped in, the paper and ink the stamp is printed on, the time it takes to pack it all up, and a trip to the post office. My prices are set to reflect all of these things.

Please do not email me asking me for exact shipping price to your zip code. I will only quote you the shipping price quoted in my shop. However, if you are planning a very large order (ten or more) then you may email me and we can discuss a customized shipping price.

All items are shipped first class, or priority depending on the weight of the package.

All international orders are shipped First Class if under four pounds. If the order is over 4 pounds it will be shipped Priority International. If you would like your item shipped another way just contact me.

All orders are filled in the order they come in. Please do not email me asking me to rush your order. If you are planning a project for a fair, gift, etc please plan accordingly. It is not fair to my other customers to place orders ahead of theirs due to lack of poor planning on your part.
