I am unable to stop thinking about clay!

Welcome and thank you for visiting my shop! I have been in love with clay since I was a small child sitting by the lake digging clay with my hands. I would make forms and let it dry in the sun. Fast forward to becoming a member of the Village Potters Guild in Plymouth, Michigan and then in 1999 I became a member at the Ann Arbor Potters Guild in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where I currently create and fire all my work.

I have explored many types of forms and techniques. I spent time focused on wheel throwing and functional dinnerware, serving vessels and flower vases. I spent time creating sculptural vases based on the Anasazi cliff dwellings of the southwest. Then I turned to art tiles inspired by nature and ancient symbols, and hand-built functional pottery.

Some of the local places my work has sold are: The Ann Arbor Street Art Fair, Pewabic Pottery in Detroit, and the bi-annual Ann Arbor Potters Guild sales. In 2019 I was looking for a way to find a broader audience to share my work with other than local venues, and decided to try Etsy. I have been very happy selling and connecting to shoppers using Etsy USA.

If you have changed your mind or don't like the piece, I will refund the purchase price of the items upon their return but not the amount I spent on shipping the items to you. Item(s) must be returned in the original condition. (return within 14 days of delivery).

If something breaks during shipping, I will file a claim with the shipper and refund your money as long as you document the breakage with photos of any damage to the outside of the box when you received it, the packaging materials I used, and photos of the broken tile or pottery. Send photos to me through my Etsy account.
