A Passion for Making Things.

I was an art major in college, but took a few U-turns and became a writer, and then went on to get a Ph.D in psychology. But no matter what other careers I've pursued in life, I've always nurtured my creative side -- especially knitting, sewing, beadwork, flame-work, and now, glass-blowing. Designing and creating these items is a high priority for me.

It's a thrill each day I work in the glass studio. it's hard, and hot, and a little dangerous, but every time I blow the first bubble into the hot glass, I feel the thrill of anticipation. That is the moment when the piece is born - and then I am on a mission to create it, to see how it will turn out.

My Etsy Shop is my dream come true, and it's the perfect gallery to display and sell my glass ware and other hand-made creations. I'm thrilled to be part of this growing, pulsing energetic community. Hope you enjoy my shop!

Greetings! Nice to meet you, and welcome to my shop. In case you hadn't noticed -- I'm passionate about blowing hot glass - and I try to get into the hot-shop a couple of times a week to be in what I like to call, the "flowzone!" I use the ancient free-hand technique - which usually means using no molds other than optic molds. Please browse around, and check out my latest designs in glassware, jewelry, and other handmade items. Feel free to write me and let me know what you think. Thanks for visiting!

I accept most credit cards and PayPal. I also accept Etsy gift cards. At the moment, I am not charging tax. I am absorbing this for you!
Unless you've requested a custom item, I can typically ship within 4 days. Shipping to most places in California costs approximately $5.80 for every item that can fit into my smaller shipping boxes, up to approximately 5 lbs. Outside of California, shipping costs jumps to $9.50 for items up to approximately 5 lbs. After that, shipping will be determined by the weight of the package.

By the way, I present my jewelry items in gift boxes, and provide gift cards. While I can't provide gift boxes for the glassware, all of the glass items are very carefully wrapped in protective bubble-wrap and other soft packing materials so that they'll arrive safely and undamaged.
Refunds and Exchanges
I will do my utmost to make you happy. So if you're not satisfied with your item, or if it arrives damaged or broken, just send it back to me, and I'll make things right, to the best of my ability. I'll definitely give store credit, and if that won't do the trick, we'll work something out. I want to have happy customers who come back time after time!

Note: Each piece of hand-blown glass is unique and individual - therefore a replacement piece will never be exactly the same - but it will be similar.
Additional policies and FAQs
I would love to make custom orders for you! Please be aware, however, that blowing glass is a process, and there are several steps between me in the hot-shop, and you receiving your special item. So, please contact me in 'convo' to find out about lead times. I'll do my very best to make the turn-around time as convenient for you as possible.
