This fabric is absolutely GORGEOUS. I cannot wait to turn it into my 1870s corset. It's sturdy and soft and almost appears to glow from within. I ordered an extra yard and hope to add it as trim or even as a vest in a future project. I cannot wait to order fabric from this shop again.

I ordered an 1880’s style bespoke corset from Alexander back in July, and from the very start he was so incredibly patient and helpful when answering my questions, as this was the first bespoke corset I’ve ever ordered and wasn’t quite sure how to go about it. Alexander was completely understanding and put my nerves at ease immediately. Once I received the mock-up, I was absolutely impressed; the fit was already almost perfect without having met in person, and during the fitting he was incredibly knowledgeable and personable, and took the time to explain the changes that needed to be made and why, and how the corset should look and fit. once the fully finished corset was in my hands, I was just immediately enamored with its beauty and fine craftsmanship.
