Announcement   I make whimsical, inspirational bohemian mixed media art jewelry. I make my own beads, tiles and pendants out of polymer clay, metal and wood; adding paint, ink, resin, paper, ephemera, mica powder, fine glitter, and loads of texture, giving these wearable art pieces a rustic and/or distressed look.

Stop by again soon as I will be listing more items to my shop!

About

I'm Janet Wilson of ChickieGirlCreations

I love to make whimsical and inspiring pieces to help others along in their personal journey. My love for art bloomed at a very young age beginning with crayons, rainbows, mud pies, yarn, unicorns and then whatever I could get my hands on.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I have a degree in graphic design and art, as well as having invested in jewelry making and mixed media art classes/workshops. Also, I have been working with polymer clay for 11 years. I have been published in Shirley Rufener's book Polymer Clay Mixed Media Jewelry: Fresh Techniques, Projects and Inspiration. And have been published in PolymerCafe Magazine and Artisan Whimsy Bead Chat Magazine.
Why ChickieGirlCreations?
When my daughter was born I had several cute nicknames for her, but ChickieGirl seemed to fit her most, especially when she was a toddler. She was always on the move and so happy, and still is to this day (now almost 11 years old!!), but now I just call her my Chickie. It only seemed fitting to name this little shop after her since she was and still is my muse and to be honest, my biggest fan. Now that she is older, I find myself bouncing ideas off of her and she supports and encourages me like no other. She's a true blessing in my life.
I work at home in my own tiny basement studio, and I love it! I strive to make my jewelry as durable as possible. All of my pieces are 100% handmade by me, and me alone!
I package each item in a box and I take special care to make the recipient feel as though they are receiving a special gift. If you need me to ship a gift to a specific address with a special note, feel free to contact me with this request! I love shipping out gifts! Need a unique piece for a special occasion? Absolutely get a hold of me. I would love to chat and get to know you!
