All of my prints are all giclee reproductions of my original cyanotypes on archival matte paper.
The inks used are archival and will resist fading over time.

What is a Cyanotype??

*.*.* Cyanotype is a 170 year old photographic printing process that produces prints in shades of prussian blue. When making a cyanotype I use a heavy weight cotton watercolor paper and coat it with UV sensitive chemicals. I use either fresh flowers and leaves or use dried and pressed foliage. I make my arrangement on the paper, place it outside and then let the sun do its magic! Once the paper has been developed from the sun, the next step is letting the print soak in a water mixture and eventually rinsing off the chemicals. The "sun print" will fully develop into the beautiful shades of blue over the next day.

*** None of my prints have been computer edited. The shades of blue on each of my prints will be slightly different. Not all of my prints have a true white silhouette and some of the white edges may appear sharp while some edges on the same print appear to have a light blur. This is all part of the cyanotype process and makes each print unique! Close up image have been added to see this natural finished look.

All of my prints come with a 1/2 inch white boarder. This makes the print fit perfectly into a standard mat and frame. Your print will arrive as the size chose with a 1/2 inch white boarder on all sides. This allows your print to fit beautify matted or in a frame.

Your prints will ship in individual bags secured in between cardboard and shipped in a durable flat mailer.
