The picture advertised is misleading.. That's really all I can say.. Not sure how to attach pictures of what I received but I did email them to the shop owner. The shop owner confirmed there wasn't a mistake this is what I ordered and made no excuse for the misrepresentation. Basically the color is a bright yellow gold and the quality is well I don't really know what to call it. This was a gift for a friend and both of us were left disappointed but we can laugh about it. It's become an office mascot but that wasn't my intention when I bought it. Was going for a funny/shabby chic... More just funny. Sorry I don't want this to be harsh and I knew it was funky when I ordered it... That's why I haven't asked for a refund. Just a friendly heads up to potential buyers

We offered to repaint the item to the color she preferred free of charge not including return shipping. So far she has not responded. Offer still stands if she is interested.

About

Making a life with Zombie Gnomes

One day in January 2011 Chris was stuck in horrible traffic on the 210 freeway when he came up with a funny idea. What if the zombie apocalypse could effect mythical creatures like gnomes? He shared this amusing thought with his girlfriend Jane and she said he had to make one. Chris made one for his practical effects class and Jane painted it for him. When his other classmates and friends saw it they loved it so much they encouraged him to make more. A few months later, Jane was encouraged by a close friend to post the Zombie Gnomes on Etsy. Her friend explained how Etsy was a place for artists to come together and sell fun creations. They tried it out and now 4 years later Chris and Jane have sold over 10,000 Zombie Gnomes to over 10 different countries. All of their products are handmade and painted in Southern California by local artists. Their Zombie Gnomes are based off the classic, traditional 'gnome lore,' and are made to look amazing both outside or inside.

In 2013 Chris and Jane tied the knot and in June 2015 they had their first son Anthony and their 2nd child is due Nov. 2016. Oh and they are still making Zombie Gnomes.
