Christine Berrie - Collect, Create, Colour

Christine creates detailed, richly-coloured prints which all originate from hand drawn images using graphite and colour pencils. Many of the pints are limited editions. Christine has a particular love of creating images of collections of objects, which stems from her childhood interest in collecting stamps, stickers, pictures postcards and all sorts of paper paraphernalia. Highly prolific in her output, the results display Christine's aim to invest even the most mundane objects with personality.

Christine Berrie's Etsy shop opened in 2008. Her images are hand drawn then scanned in and printed from an Epson printer onto Epson Archival Matte paper. Christine also collaborates with other designers and companies who produce bags, posters, books and homewares all adorned with her artwork. She works from her studio in her home in the Scottish Borders, making frequent trips to her home city of Glasgow.

Hello and thank you for visiting my shop! I am a graduate of the Royal College of Art in London and the Glasgow School of Art. I create colourful drawings and limited edition prints.

My prints are created using an Epson Stylus Photo R3000 printer with Epson archival printer ink, which produces vivid, crisp prints. All images are printed on genuine Epson heavyweight archival matte paper, 192gsm. All items are shipped in board-backed envelopes with a cellophane sleeve and a sheet of thick, corrugated cardboard. In order to keep postage costs low for my customers, I don't use fussy packaging, however, it is sturdy, secure and good quality to ensure that all items have the best chance to arrive at their destination in good condition.

If you have any requests or ideas or just want to say hello, feel free to get in touch.
