Sí, hago todo lo posible para que eso suceda. Utilizo una caja de cartón duro que sostengo con paredes de poliéster para que no se deforme. También hago un sistema de soporte para el ramo que lo mantiene quieto en la caja. El resto del espacio vacío se llena con papel de seda. Por lo general, envío fotos con el interior de la caja para que puedas verlas por ti mismo.

Yes, I do my best to make that happen. I use a hard cardboard box which I sustain with walls of polyester so it doesn’t deform. I also make a support system for the bouquet that keeps it still in the box. The rest of the empty space is filled with tissue paper. I usually send pictures with the inside of the box so you can see for yourself.

Paper flowers are meant to last for many many years if you take proper care of them. You must keep them away from direct sunlight and moisture! One of the reasons I paint my paper with acrylics is that crepe paper colors fade very quickly because of the natural light. By painting it, not only I obtain the shade and details I aim for, but also, I make the paper more stronger and resistant to natural light. Some paper flowers are very delicate and fragile but I’ve developed, over time, some techniques that make them stronger. I also use a varnish spray with UV protection that will help the paper that isn’t painted not to fade as much. ... o al menos deberían serlo, porque hay que tener en cuenta el hecho de que se trata de un trabajo hecho a mano, un proceso creativo y artístico en el que cada flor de papel se hace desde cero: el papel se muere, cada pétalo se corta, se moldea, se pega uno por uno. Puede tomar un par de horas hacer una sola flor. Estás pagando por el costo del material, la mano de obra y también las horas de investigación, práctica y estudio, obtención de los mejores materiales y experimentación de nuevas técnicas. Me cayó que con cada proyecto aprendo algo nuevo y cada ramo es único porque también es una obra de arte.

I fell that with every project I learn something new and every bouquet is unique because it’s also a work of art.
