Announcement   Thank you for purchasing our hand-crafted items, made by my fiance and I in South Louisiana, USA. We purchase our clay from a local source and mix our own glazes. All of our pieces are made by hand and most of the stamping on our pieces are from our original stamps, vintage needlework and locally growing plants.

About Christy: Born a farmer’s daughter and having two Houma Indian grandmothers in my lineage, I feel very grounded to the Earth and all the natural beauty it has to offer. My pieces reflect this strong connection and the love I hold for all things old and natural. I also regard the notion that worn objects have an innate ability to narrate stories and often include them in my various works. In 1997 I began attending college for ceramics and art and earned of BA with a concentration in sculpture from the University of New Orleans in 2014.

About Reuben: Reuben's family has been in the business of Granite and Marble for several Generations. He began hand-crafting in stone in his early teens and continues to do so today. Being a naturally artistic individual, Reuben quickly learned to throw on the wheel and now creates beautiful ceramic pieces.

Thank you,
Christy & Reuben.

About

Handmade in the USA!

In 1997 I took my first ceramics class. Since then, I have earned two art degrees and continue to attend workshops when I can. Learning and teaching are two of my favorite things!

From my studio in South Louisiana, my fiance and I have lots of fun creating art. We purchase clay from a local source, hand-build and throw our own pieces and even mix our own glazes! Most of the impressions in our pieces come from our own hand-made stamps, vintage fabrics and leaves from locally growing plants.

Let us know if there is an item you would like to see in our shop and we will try our best to make it!
