Vertical Line on the Inside of planter
In 3d printing there is always going to be a seam, this is from layer the layer change during printing. We try to hide the seam in the design, but on the inside of the planter this is not always possible. For many of our designs there will be a vertical seam on the back of the planter.
Custom Colors
If you would like an item printed in a color/material we do not normally use, please reach out to us. We are always looking to increase our options.
How do we water seal our planters
For planters sold without a water tray and draining holes we perform 2 post-printing steps to ensure the planters are as water tight as possible.
Due to the nature of 3d printing we need to take steps to ensure a water tight seal, to the best of our ability.
We first will spray the inside of the planter with clear polyurethane. After this we apply a small amount of wax to the inside bottom of the planter. This wax may leave a white residue inside, but since the plant/dirt is going to cover this, it should not be an issue.
The combination of clear polyurethane and wax should provide the planter with as water tight seal as we can.
Please note, planters are not meant to hold standing water. Just moisture from normal plant watering.
Care instructions
To clean your planter, or printed item please only use warm soap and water.
Do not put any 3d printed item in the dishwasher as it will cause the material to warp.
