I had a digital print lampshade in my mind and couldn't find anyone actually doing this style until I came across Chromatica! Purchased this custom-made order - absolutely amazing and one-of-a-kind! The image is high-quality and the color was exactly what I was expecting! Quick responses, fast delivery and great service!

Each lamp created by this artist duo is made by hand and tells a story.

The interior designer Carene Pérez and photographer Carlos Pérez joined their knowledge and talents to create Chromatica Group (, dedicated to designing, manufacturing and selling lamp shades and lamps."We had always wanted to work together on something that would allow us to create things with our hands. In addition to the world of design and decor, I have always loved lighting design", says Carene. "We have different professions, but they have many common aspects, such as composition, lighting and color", says her husband Carlos. The inspiration for their pieces comes from places as diverse as nature, urban areas and industrial zones, and so are the different materials used: wood, cement, iron ... . However, the work of Chromatica has a common denominator: the telling of a story. For example, the model 'Village of La Mancha' shows in its lamp shade the first chapter of the masterpiece of Miguel de Cervantes. The 'Imagine' lamp shade is a picture that Carlos took from the trees surrounding the memorial to John Lennon in Central Park, in New York. But in addition to their collections, the duo manufactures unique conversation pieces. "People are looking for the connection to the designer and manufacturer, so we offer consulting services including the manufacture of custom pieces to suit our clients' needs" Carene points out.

Accepted payment methods

We accept payment by PayPal. It allows for quicker shipping and accepts all major credit cards even without a PayPal account.

If you have an account, simply log-in to process your payment.
If you don't have an account, you can easily continue the checkout process.

If payment has not been received through Paypal within 5 days of purchase, transaction will be cancelled.

If you are unable to pay immediately but would like to reserve the listing, you may do so for 24 hrs. Contact us and we will hold the item and mark it as reserved on our shop. If payment is not received within 24 hours and we have not heard from you to arrange something, the item will be re-listed.

You may cancel any "ready to ship" order at anytime prior to payment of the item. You must notify us so we can list the item as available. If you have paid for an item and would like to cancel and receive a refund, you may do this under these conditions:
-item cannot be a custom order
-we must be notified prior to the item being shipped.
If we have shipped your item already or if this is a custom order, please refer to our "refund policy" and "additional information" sections.
We will assume the use of your PayPal address for shipping, unless otherwise specified.

Items are shipped from Puerto Rico, using USPS. All items are listed with their respective shipping costs.

U.S Customers: Items are shipped U.S. 1st Class with Delivery Confirmation unless specified otherwise.
International Customers: items are shipped USPS First Class International.
International buyers are responsible for any and all duties, customs and taxes levied by their individual countries.

For all "Ready to Ship" items, please allow 5 business days (M-F) after receipt of payment for the item to be packaged and shipped.
For all "Custom Order" items, please allow 2-3 weeks as the originality of each design takes some time.
Items shipped internationally may take up to 2 weeks. Please contact us for a more accurate estimation of delivery time.
In the event that we are unable to ship within the time specified we will send notification.

If you would like any of the following:
- expedited shipping
- different shipping method
- tracking
- insurance
please request during check out in the "Message to Seller" box. We will do our best to accommodate you. We will provide a quote and at that point all applicable shipping costs will be adjusted accordingly.

In the case that an item is damaged or lost in transit, we will do all we can do to remedy the loss, but we cannot be held responsible for packages the mailman has lost or a neighbor has misplaced!

REUSE | REDUCE | RECYCLE - We try to reuse or incorporate recycled packaging materials when we ship goods.
We will take great care in making sure your purchase is protected with the proper packaging required to ensure a safe arrival!

We would appreciate your positive "feedback" as our way of knowing that your package was delivered safely and you are pleased with your purchase.

Refunds and Exchanges
All of our products are made to order, therefor all sales are FINAL. Please see "Additional Info" below for more information about Custom Orders.

While all sales are final we want you to be happy with your purchase. If you have a concern please contact us and we will see what we can do. We love happy customers!

“Damaged” items:
We will replace damaged items with an equal item once the original is sent back to us. Buyer will be responsible for all shipping costs and fees.

"Lost in Transit"
We will do all we can do to remedy the loss, but we cannot be held responsible for packages the mailman has lost or a neighbor has misplaced!
Additional policies and FAQs
We strive to represent the colors accurately. Please be aware that the colors you see on your computer screen may differ slightly to the real item due to variations in monitors. So, if you have any questions or need additional pictures and information, please convo us and we will be happy to oblige.

Reserved Listings (Holds):

Generally we will hold an item for 24 hours. Please convo us with your request AND when you plan to purchase. We will remove the hold after 24 hours if you do not buy this item. Please remember that it's possible for another buyer to purchase the item before we get a chance to place it on hold.

All of the photos in our shop were taken by Chromatica Group. We hand-make all of the mixed media work.
Every piece we create is printed using 100% archival inks and media. The production process is meticulous and focused from start to finish. We have high standards for the quality of our work, including print quality, and for your complete satisfaction.
All of the photographic prints are printed by a printing company we trust to render consistent, high quality prints. They use archival inks and media as well as archival spray to finish the prints.

Custom Orders

We are always happy to do custom orders. If you see an item you like but would prefer it in a different color or size, please contact us:

The typical turnaround for a custom order once the final design is approved is 10-12 days.

Below please find our Custom Order Policies, which are designed to protect all parties involved:

- It is important to be thorough when requesting custom items so we can understand your needs and create an item you will love and enjoy!
- Once all information and details have been shared back and forth between Shop and Buyer, a custom listing will be listed on Shop and Buyer will be notified with a link to that listing. Buyer will place this listing in their cart and proceed with payment.
- All sales are final.
-Once approved, the custom item will then be sent to the Buyer.
