I myself do not Crochet, but my lovely girlfriend does. This is the first pattern she has ever done and she found it to be simple enough. From my end I have an obsession over cuttlefish. She made me two and they look super cute. She used white and multi-shade purple yarn.

Crochet Patterns That Are Cute And Quirky!

Nowadays I am all about crochet, but it took me a surprisingly long time to get there. I learned embroidery long before I ever picked up a skein of yarn, and my interest in the art waxed and waned periodically over the course of my life, never quite catching my full attention. Likewise, I delightedly dabbled with ceramics and mosaics as I grew older, never quite mastering either, but gaining appreciation for many forms of craft.

It wasn't until one hot summer day, attending a craft fair on a whim, that I discovered a booth advertising crocheting classes. I signed up and took to it like a kitten to yarn (albeit with less biting). The teacher peered at me with confusion. "Have you done this before?" she asked. No - but from the very start I knew that this was not simply an artistic infatuation. I had finally found true love.

I designed patterns on my own for a year, scribbling away stitch counts in battered notebooks and happily filling my room with amigurumi sea creatures. Finally, I mustered the courage to open a shop to sell my carefully-crafted designs. It has been hard work, but absolutely worth it!

Making patterns, from their initial sketches to their final forms, generally takes me about a month. My primary passion is for crocheting sea creatures, but I have also made holiday patterns, mice, and more. I am eager to continue to expand my range of patterns in the future!

I am a young crocheter in my twenties. I love to design crochet patterns. When not curled on my couch with my crochet hook and my yarn collection, you can often find me hiking in the hills or reading in the sunshine.
