Polymer Clay Jewelry, Beadwork, and More by Jeanette Norman of Denver, Colorado

I'm Jeanette Norman, and I design and make all of my jewelry and other items in my shop at home in Denver, Colorado. This shop features my original work. Most of it is my own bold, distinctive style of nature-inspired jewelry, featuring imaginative takes on trilobites, snakes, insects, sea creatures, plants, etc. I also feature some simple jewelry styles. My favorite materials are polymer clay, glass seed beads, and Czech pressed glass beads.

The cicada in my business name symbolizes nature, and (as with many winged creatures in art) freedom, aspiration, and transcendence over adversity.

You can find this shop again by a shop search for CicadaArtJewelry. The URL also redirects here. I also have a bead shop that I started early in 2020; that's here:

I graduated from the University of Colorado, Denver, with a master's degree in sociology, in May of 2020--just in time for the pandemic.

Frequently asked questions
When will my item ship?

Everything in my shop is ready to ship, and I will send it the same or next business day. The only exception would be an emergency or unforeseen circumstance, but if I'm not dead or incapacitated you can expect me to message you through Etsy to notify you of any delay. Note that U.S. federal holidays are not business days for postal services.

The "processing time" section above says that processing time will vary, and that I need to see item descriptions for processing times. What does that mean?

That is a question and answer from Etsy's shop policies template, and I don't know what it means. Barring an emergency I will pack and ship your order the same or next business day, as described above.
