A beautiful Vintage bodice.
It all began with a coat.....
I can still remember walking down the sidewalk on the East Side in Providence, Rhode Island, some 30 plus years ago, seeing that dress form on the sidewalk in front of a church thrift store, adorned with a fabulous 50's swing coat, blowing ever so slightly in the breeze. It was ink black cashmere, beautiful big buttons, fully lined and beyond stunning! I had to have it, and that was it, my journey with vintage clothing began.
Today I have a husband and 4 children, a small photography business and my vintage clothing love and business. I have been selling online for over 9 years, (before that, in group antique shops) and am really excited to be on Etsy! I work from my home, and my office is filled with rolling racks of clothing and the shelves are filled with treasures to be listed. My camera is always close by waiting to capture that perfect moment.
People often ask me where my shop name came from. I named my business in the mid-90's when I was a dealer in a number of local group antique shops, selling vintage clothing and textiles. I was (ok, I still am) a huge fan of the TV show Northern Exposure, and my shop name is a nod to the show's fictional location of Cicely, Alaska.

Returns and exchange details
- With vintage clothing there are so many variables that I don't feel I can write a blanket return policy. I will handle any issue that comes up on a case-by-case basis and in a very timely manner. Please remember that vintage has been previously loved and adored. I strive to offer pieces that are in very wearable vintage condition however some pieces have been loved more than others and I do our best to state and photograph any imperfections in the listing. Please always check the garment's measurements listed and compare to an item you know that fits you well, this will help to make sure you love your purchase and it fits as you expect.

- INTERNATIONAL ORDERS:
First Class Mail is the most popular and economical shipping option. Be advised that First Class Mail does not guarantee shipping times, does not come with tracking and is not supported by USPS customer service. Please plan on waiting anywhere from 7-10 business days to 4 weeks.
- If your package is time sensitive or if you would prefer tracking, I highly recommend a shipping upgrade to Priority Mail (ship time 6-10 business days) or Express Mail (ship time 3-5 business days, includes insurance).
- Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges.
