About CincottisHomemade

Cincotti's Homemade was always a dream that I have put off for years and years.

My name is Jennifer and I live in Mays Landing, NJ. Close to the Jersey shore. I started baking when my daughter was a toddler. She's now in her 20's (time flies!). She loved to help me in the kitchen and still does. When my son and daughter were little I wanted to be able to stay home and raise them, so that I could spend as much time with them as possible.

During that time, I helped my Aunt run her farm market during the day while my kids were at school. She knew that I had always been a good baker. In fact, most of my family did. I knew this because my family would not let me forget to bring my various desserts and food for every holiday, birthday party, or some other special event! That's fine for me, since I love my family and I love to bake and cook.

One day, my Aunt approached me and handed me a bunch of zucchini and said make zucchini bread for her customers. I said no at first but then changed my mind and made it anyway. I never baked with zucchini so i was a little nervous. The first few batches sold out completely. I haven't stopped baking since that day and I haven't looked back.

Through baking, I found a way to support myself and my kids, while being there for them at the same time. Fast forward, my daughter graduated from college (so proud!) and my son has a couple more years before he goes. After a few years of baking for our family farm market, I wanted to see if anyone else would sell my bread. I started baking bread for Sugar Hill (our home town sandwich shop) about 7 years ago and still do to this day. Recently, I have started baking for our town's favorite local pizzeria Nino's Pizza. What more could I ask for.

I have pride in my work. I use the freshest ingredients out there, and stick to my recipes which have stood the test of time. I am forever indebted to the people of Mays Landing, NJ for letting me bake for them after all these years. They keep me going, and I hope you will let me bake for you as well.
