Cynthia Gilmer is an emerging artist who is primarily self-taught, honing her skills in classes and workshop whenever possible. A Systems Engineer by training, she sees her art as a creative outlet that also serves to exercise her often underutilized “right brain”. She splits her time between Falls Church and a home in the Blue Ridge Mountains, using nature and the beautiful scenery to inspire many of her landscapes.
