I have had several orders come in for Car Coasters. As I have noted before availability of the blank car coasters really fluctuates. Right now I now I have 22 blanks to use for orders, plus a few made up ready to ship. Orders will be fulfilled on a first come, first served basis. I know sometimes people use statements like this to manipulate customers. However, I would not do that. I am not sure when I'll be able to order again. Therefore, I urge you to place orders soon if you need some for the spring gift-giving season.

We truly are a family business. Our daughter helps with cleaning tiles before work begins on them. She also is an excellent sales person at craft shows and loves interacting with customers. My husband is our number one heavy lifter. He does an excellent job setting up our tent and other heavy lifting jobs. My husband and daughter give me inspirational ideas and support. I get the design work done and eventually end up getting around to all the paperwork. <smile>

It Was Only for Fun

When it all started, I never intended this to be a business. But let me start at the beginning ....

In December of 2012, a local flooring store offered a class on making coasters. At the class participants would learn how to apply designs to travertine and end up with 8 coasters to be used however we wished. My daughter and I took the class, just for fun to learn how to make something decorative, functional and that we could give as gifts. I made four each of 2 different designs. A dear friend received a monogram design for her Christmas gift. The other set went to my pedicurist. As I was giving the gift of coasters to her, another client came in and saw it. Both ladies really liked what they saw.

The other client asked "Do you sell your coasters?" Immediately I was put on the spot, it was do or die. What would I answer? Out of my mouth came, "Yes." Then there was another question, "How much is a set?" Oh, no! What would I answer? I heard myself give an answer, not knowing where it came from! She immediately ordered a set of coasters as a Christmas gift for a friend.

Since then I have learned a LOT. I have learned a tremendous amount about designing, techniques to use in applying designs, how to work with customers, selling, craft show set up and tear down and so much more. One of my biggest lessons I have learned is how much my dear husband and daughter are my biggest supporters. They are my first rate cheerleaders, truck packers, load in/out crew (craft shows), and sales people.

I know that God has directed me to this. Without God leading me I would not have been able to come from where I was to where I am now ... a bumbling, unsure, conflicted person not sure what to do or say to a crafter who is getting a little better each day in improving skills at my Creation Station (work table), knowing how to work with customers, making friends with fellow artists and crafters and even some of my customers! I don't always have it together but with God all things are possible! The class I took was only for fun but it has turned in to a really cool business where I get to share things I create with family, new and old friends, and my customers.

If you are in the area whenever we are at a craft show, stop by our booth so we can meet you in person. We love meeting our customers and put a face with a name!

I take Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and PayPal. Order must be paid in full before any work is begun on the order.

I now take payments in the form of checks. Checks must be sent within 3 days of placing order. I will deposit your check upon receipt and it must clear the bank which may take up to 14 days. Orders paid by check are made and sent once the check clears. All checks must have full name, address and a working phone number on them. No counter checks accepted. Once the check clears your order cannot be cancelled

Money orders are now accepted too. Money orders must be sent within 3 days of placing order. I will deposit your money order upon receipt. All money orders must have full name, address and a working phone number on them. Once I deposit the money order your order may not be cancelled.

Custom orders are not refundable and must be paid in full before any work begins. Custom orders are made specifically for the purchaser and will be unsellable to anyone else. Custom orders are not eligible for cancellation once work has begun on the order.

If for some reason you do not love what you ordered or you have questions about it, please contact me as soon as possible though Etsy's convo system before leaving a review. It is my desire to work out a solution that satisfies both buyer and seller.

I have recently added the option to secure delivery confirmation by signature for an additional $3.00. BEFORE YOU ORDER ...

Please read the product descriptions fully. Many questions are answered by simply reading the description. If you still have questions, please send us a message through Etsy and we'll be glad to get back to you.

Please make sure your address is correct. In keeping with Etsy's policies I must ship to the address on record. Please verify your address before placing your order. Please make sure you include a physical address when ordering if you chose the UPS upgrade. UPS only ships to a physical address.

When you order arrives and you look at it first hand for the first time, I hope you love it just as much as when you placed your order. If you love the treasure you ordered from me, please refer us to your family and friends.

My turnaround time varies, depending on how busy I am and whether all necessary items are in hand but is usually about 3 days. I try to update my Etsy shop if I am busy and it will take longer. If you order one of our wood framed art pieces the turnaround time can up to 2 weeks if I need to order the frame to complete your order. We are a small family business and we take time to make orders individually for each customer as it is ordered.

In the unlikely event there is an unavoidable delay in completing your order, I will contact you as soon as possible through Etsy. I will let you know why there is a delay and approximately how long it will be before your order is completed and shipped. You will be given the choice to receive a full refund if the delay is unacceptable or to choose to wait on your order.

Once your order is complete, I then ship the order by the USPS Priority. This includes insurance for up to $50.00 and package tracking. If actual shipping is less than what you were charged, I will refund any difference that is $1.00 or more within 24 hours of shipment. If your product order totals more than $50.00 please convo me prior to ordering so we can add extra insurance to your order if you so desire.

If you live in the Houma, Thibodaux, or Morgan City, Louisiana area, please contact me before ordering. Customers who live in this area have the option of choosing local pick up for free. When I receive your order and I have it complete, I will contact you to arrange local pick up at a neutral public location during normal daytime business hours. Choosing local pick up will save you shipping charges.

If you prefer UPS (United Parcel Service), please let me know before ordering. UPS ships only to a physical address, NOT to a P. O. Box. UPS shipping costs are $15.00 or more to virtually anywhere in the contiguous USA. Shipping to Alaska or Hawaii will incur additional charges. I will contact you before shipping to Alaska or Hawaii to seek approval for those additional charges.

Once your order ships you will receive a tracking number regardless of how it is shipped. You can use this number to keep track of your package until it is delivered.

If you want upgraded shipping to receive your order sooner, such as overnight shipping, please contact me before completing your order to see if this is possible. Overnight shipping does not mean your order will be ready and to you overnight. Overnight services begin once the item is shipped.

If your order is going to Alaska or Hawaii please contact me prior to ordering. Shipping may cost extra and I will need certain information from you to find out the actual costs. Once you order you will be charged actual shipping for orders bound to Alaska or Hawaii.

We do not use shipping charges as a profit center in our business. We strive to pass on only actual shipping charges to our customers. Any shipping overcharges that are $1.00 or more are refunded to our customers.

Refunds and Exchanges

All items except the clearance section have a 15 day limit on returns, exchanges and refunds. The 15 day limit starts the day the order is delivered. Returned items must be in original, unused, saleable condition. Refunds, exchanges and returns after the 15 day limit are at my discretion. Please contact me before sending items back. Only approved returns will be accepted. Buyer is responsible for any shipping charges to send back items.

When your order arrives, please inspect it immediately to be sure it arrived in tact and in good condition. Please report any damages within 24 hours of receipt of order to prevent delays in remedying the situation. If your order is damaged, please send me photos and a description of the damage through Etsy's convo system so I can make a determination on a refund or exchange.

Refunds are not available on custom orders except in cases of damage during shipment.

At my discretion I will ask for the damaged item(s) to be returned before issuing a refund. All returns that are approved should be insured for return shipment and have a tracking number. Approved refunds are given only after we receive the item in original and new, unused condition.

Shipping charges are not eligible for refund.
