It All Began With a Book.

After nearly ten years on a corporate track, I was really losing steam mentally. Sensing I needed an infusion of creativity -and a reminder that I could do more than risk management, my work at the time- my better half bought me a book on creating mixed media.

From the moment I started reading, I was hooked.

That was nearly seven years ago. I've switched coasts, quit the corporate grind, and have found my sanity and health restored by working in a creative vein.

Thank you for taking the time to review my work & Etsy shop.

Art decodes the human experience- if we take the time to look. I enjoy making pieces which reflect my own past, but also for those who entrust me with their memories and feelings. My work often features nature, mythology, and technology.

***Custom Order FAQ***

I happily accept custom orders. Please know that:

-Every piece I make is unique. While I can recreate some elements from past pieces, often specific pieces of paper or other ephemera are not reproducible or available. Works with original photos, concert tickets, and exact color/medium combos can be close but never exact. I do not measure or record how I mix paints and inks, so there's no way to reproduce the same shade, hue, etc. However, I will gladly work with you to find a close approximation to an existing piece in my shop or one that sold previously.

-I usually select a long lead time to ensure other custom orders are handled in a timely manner, too. That said, I almost always ship early. Please let me know if you have a specific time frame you're trying to meet.

-The more info you can provide about what you're looking for, the better! Don't hesitate to show me photos, send links, or otherwise describe your vision in detail.

-Since we are communicating digitally, some variance in color will occur when reviewing in-progress photos. Lighting etc. impact how a piece might look.

-Want to be surprised, and not receive progress updates? I can do that too!

-I ask for a 50% deposit upfront. I will create a listing for you to pay the deposit. If you dislike the final product or we can't agree on the design direction, the deposit is forfeit.

Some things to consider:

1. Size: I work as small as 6x6 and up to 16x20 currently.

2. Do you want me to source items for the piece? Example: I might need to buy a set of dominos for artwork featuring the game, or vintage concert tickets for a music-themed collage. I factor these costs into the total and need to know what you might want to add as soon in the process as possible.

3. Want to send me specific ephemera you have? Great! I will deduct the cost of shipping from the total if you want to send me items to incorporate.
