Exactly as pictured & described. I worried that the size was a bit too large for me, but the wide band means the ring needed that extra half size. The workmanship is excellent; the opals are very flashy and really sparkle! Definitely a ring people will notice!

About

A husband and wife jewelry making team

Whitney and Paul are a husband and wife team. Whitney started Circe's House (named after their sweet black cat who died suddenly of cancer) in 2009. She thought it would be a fun hobby and didn't expect it to blossom as it did. Soon, Whitney brought Paul into the business and he found he had a natural talent for jewelry design. Now, Paul runs Circe's House full time, and Whitney helps out by making as much jewelry as she can when she's not busy teaching writing to grad students at the University of Kentucky. Whitney takes a lot of the pictures, too.

Whitney and Paul are both creative people--they both write, and Paul draws and creates graphic novels--so jewelry design comes naturally to them. They can spend hours drooling over strands of gemstones online or at rock shops. They spend a lot of time making sure to find the highest quality, most scrumptious-looking stones available, and their designs demonstrate an exquisite attention to detail. They love mixing gemstones with charms--dragonflies, leaves, Celtic knots, flowers--and have a particular fondness for magical stones like labradorite, rainbow moonstone, and opal. Circe's House is a huge part of everyday life for this couple, and they both love interacting with their Etsy clients and making custom pieces.
