Love this! So happy to find something I could edit and play around with myself. My guests have been saying how cute and creative this is. I of course let them know who did it! Thank you!

Super cute! Easy to edit. So happy to find something that I could edit and play around with myself, instead of having to wait and have it done by the designer. Awesome design!

The automatic download option made it easy for me to get started on my invitations right away. I requested backgrounds and overlays, and my request was fulfilled very timely. The template was not only beautiful, but very easy to use, and the tips included by the seller gave me some really good ideas for making my invitations even prettier. I will definitely use this CKetch Designs for future tamp late needs!

About

Design is my passion, vintage-chic is my style!

Hi there! My name is Chelsea Kight and I'm a graphic designer, artist, developer, and fellow crafter. For the past six years I've worked in print graphics and web development, specializing in simple, elegant, and powerful designs. I love mixing my rustic country background with my southern chic style and making beautiful graphics!

Who am I? I am the friendly nerd-gal who secretly obsesses about growing design trends. I live in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley with my adorable husband. When I am not gardening or painting, I am on my computer cranking out designs. I do a lot of custom designs in my spare time, so please don't hesitate to contact me for a quote.

I have a wedding invitation shop at https://www.etsy.com/shop/CketchDesigns

You can visit my professional portfolio at https://www.cketch.com

I also design & build websites at https://www.valley-websites.com

Oh, and I also pin like a mad-woman at https://www.pinterest.com/cketchcom

Cketch Designs was created to provide an affordable option for those DIY brides on a budget, without sacrificing the quality of the design. Just open, edit, print, and cut. Every template is made in Word and saved as a .docx file. Most computers can open this format, but if yours cannot then you will not be able to edit the template much.

"Can I change the color of the artwork/designs?"
Yes! Simply double-click on the design element after opening it in Word or Pages and select a new "fill color." In Pages you can also drag and drop colors from the color menu onto the artwork.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
"Can I change the text, to add or take away lines?"
Yes. You can add or delete as many lines of text as you see fit.

"Can I change the sizes?"
Yes. The templates are vector based, which means that you can size the artwork and fonts up or down without any loss in quality. You can also create a new document in any size that you would like an copy and paste from my template into that size.

"Why do the fonts look different when I open the file?"
A default font will display if you do not have the particular font I used installed on your computer. I attach fonts in the download file, so be sure to install them before opening your template.

"Do you offer printing services?"
Not at the moment. I recommend printing at home. Many home inkjet printers will have better results than a "professional" laser printer at a big box store.
If you don't want to print them yourself, printing at a kinkos, staples, or vista print is totally possible if you desire to. You will want to start by finding out the size your printer will need. Create a new document in that size, and copy my template into it. Save as a PDF from Word or Pages.

"What paper should I use?"
Honestly, I can't be the one that tells you that information. I suggest going to your local staples or home depot and look at their paper selection, or find a local print shop and see what they offer. Paper comes in many weights, colors, fibers, etc. so you will need to be the one that decides what is best for your special day.
If you want to buy paper online, I suggest http://www.thepapermillstore.com/ .
Also, make sure you know what your printer can/cannot print on.

"How should I trim my invites?"
I know that some find this part the least desirable part of the process, but it can go back quite quickly. Two people can trim out 100 wedding invitations in less than ten minutes with a ruler and two good exact-o knives. The cost of having a printing company trim isn't likely worth less than a half-hour of your time! Another great option is to use a paper cutter.

"Do you do custom designs? Do you think you could customize my template for me to print??"
Yes! Please email me (eason.chelsea@gmail.com) or message me on Etsy and let me know what you need. My customization fee is usually $50. I love designing wedding branding, so please let me know what you need me to do for you. :)

"Can I display your templates on my site?"
You may display photographs of your printed invitations (derivative work) on your website or blog, in fact I encourage you to do so and send me the link so I can share it as well! However you may not falsely represent or imply that you are the original creator of my templates. You may not post any product, depiction or portion thereof online, or place any product or derivative work online in a downloadable format or as an editable web-to-print template, whether or not you represent the product as the work of me or of others. My templates are for PERSONAL USE ONLY. You can NOT download them and then sell printed versions to third parties. Please contact me for commercial use licensing fees.

"Can you sell me Photoshop / Illustrator files?"
I create my templates directly in Word and Pages, so Photoshop templates are not available. You can however, save as a PDF from Word or Pages and open the PDF in Illustrator.
