Adorable and very fast ship!
The name ClaireBearBaby originated from my daughter's middle name, though I get lots of customers who think that it's my name. I started making baby products after my daughter was born because I needed an outlet for creativity and something to do that wasn't directly related to my kids. After months of making things as gifts, I was encouraged by friends to start selling the things that I was making. I never really thought that things would evolve like they have but I'm thankful for the opportunity to make things for others. I really enjoy making the items in my store and I pride myself on providing quality products. It's also nice to be able to watch my kids grow up while I work.

MY RESPONSIBILITY: It is my responsibility to ensure that packages are shipped on time according to the "ships in" time and using the method stated in the listing. Usually shipping is USPS first class, but there are times when upgraded shipping is available and must be selected and purchased when checking out. I package my items using what I feel is an appropriate type of packaging. In most cases, the item is wrapped in tissue paper and sealed in a poly-mailer. The shipping labels are printed via the Etsy shipping app and ship with a tracking number. That is the only way that packages can be tracked, traced, or located by anyone while in transit. After a package is shipped and is no longer in my possession, I have no control over its location, delivery date, delivery address, etc. If the postman leaves it at the wrong address, marks it as delivered when it is not, etc. I have no control over that.
POSTAL SERVICE'S RESPONSIBILITY: It is the postal service's responsibility to deliver packages to their intended location, mark packages as "in transit" or "delivered" appropriately and handle the packages appropriately.

Refunds and Exchanges
DAMAGED ITEMS: If you receive your item and there is a flaw with it due to manufacturing, you must either send the item back for a refund or exchange or send me photographic evidence of the damage and a description of it to receive any compensation. You must contact me prior to returning an item for a refund or exchange so that I can be looking for it and know why I have received the item back. I am not responsible for items damaged in shipping or transit. All refunds and exchanges are handled on a case by case basis.
