I give these necklaces as gifts to new parents. The crystal matches the baby's birth month. Such a nice, personal touch.

Shipped quickly. Love the uniqueness of it.

I love learning new techniques and creating beautiful, eclectic pieces.

Thank you for supporting Clara and Lux. This is a one-person operation for the most part. Just me, making jewelry at my desk in my home. My teenage daughter helps with photography and designing my logo, business cards, etc. I love learning new techniques and creating beautiful pieces that will bring joy into the wearer's life.

All Clara and Lux items will be packaged in a small box with cotton or a fabric pouch. When appropriate, an anti-tarnish tab will be included. This looks like a small square of black construction paper. I recommend that you store it with your jewelry to prevent tarnish.

If you have any questions, please contact me here on Etsy.

What is gold-filled?
Gold-filled items are made from a base (non-precious) metal, such as brass or copper, with a layer of gold (usually 12k or 14k) bonded to the surface. Gold-filled items must be at least 5% gold by weight, which is 100 times more than gold-plated items. Over time, gold plating can be scratched or rubbed off and the base metal exposed. Gold-filled items, in contrast, will last as long gone as solid gold items. Gold fill is a beautiful and economic alternative to solid gold.

Will my jewelry tarnish?
Virtually all metal will tarnish over time. When this happens, simply polish the piece with a jewelry polishing cloth or a Pro-Polish Pad. You can add a Pro-Polish Pad to your order for 50¢. It uses micropolishers developed by 3M to polish metal without smelly, toxic, or irritating chemicals. You can use the pad until it is black on both sides. To prolong the beauty of your jewelry, store it in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Don't wear it in the shower, while swimming, or while exercising.

Copper jewelry will turn your skin green. This is a reaction from moisture and your body chemistry. It's not harmful in any way. Just wash your skin with soap and water, clean or polish the jewelry, and avoid wearing the item for a day or two.
