About ClaraMaeda

Sales 7
On Etsy since 2010

From France to Japan, from Japan to France

• How to take care of your Clara Maeda's creation
All the Clara Maeda's jewelry are handmade and requires a certain amount of care.
The best solution is to hang your earrings and necklaces, or to keep it in a jewelry box, as flat as possible, and make sure the connection findings aren't bended or twisted.

Most of the fabrics I am using are vintage or antiques 100% silk, linen or hemp and hand dyed so you should keep it away from water as much as possible.
It should be washed as few as possible otherwise the dye of the fabrics could fade quickly or the fabrics get damaged.
When you do really need to wash it, do it by hand in cold water with a very soft soap, by soaking it in the water and sometime pressing it gently. Rince it with clear water and wring it as gently as possible then press it between two towels and let it dry naturally.

• Custom orders
I do accept custom orders, this is actually my main work.
