I have decided to give CLARINDA ALPACAS a bit of an overhaul which is taking longer than I first anticipated.

Clarinda Alpacas will be back soon with a variety of exquisite home grown Alpaca and Superfine Merino products, perfect for felting, spinning, weaving, knitting and crocheting. In all of our beautiful natural colours as well as some gorgeous hand dyed colour options.

This is the most stunning yarn. Gorgeous colour and so very very soft. I had my 3 year old wanting to take a skein to bed to cuddle. Must have come from a very happy Alpaca.

Welcome and thank you for visiting Clarinda Alpacas.

I love natural fibres. I love the animals that produce them and the incredible products that are made from them. Their beautiful natural colours and the way the can be dyed. The way they feel against the skin, the way they drape and the amazing fabrics and garments made from natural fleece and fibre.

About 10 years ago, our first two alpacas "Winston" and "Belvadere", started our relationship with these quirky, gentle, endearing animals and numbers are now in the hundreds. We pride ourselves on our beautiful Alpacas and the gorgeous fibre and luxury yarns that we produce from them. Each piece or fleece is utterly unique, as unique as the animal.

This is our first foray into Etsy and selling online. It is really exciting to now be able to offer our products to those who also love exquisite natural fibres and creating with them.

My husband Glen, our children and I, own and operate our property "Clarinda" which is located on the Darling Downs in Southern Queensland.
We share our beautiful patch of earth with our animals and the rest of the natural world and just love it. Farming in a sustainable way so that our farm and all of the amazing creatures that live here, will be around for generations to come.
