5 out of 5 starsThis is my second time buying from David and I'm proud that this beautiful ring box holds the most important piece of jewlery I own which is my wedding set. This box was custom made and David was wonderful to work with. I'm very pickey with things and David took the time to work with me and his patience and understanding was very much appreciated. Thank you David for such a beautiful ring box :)

5 out of 5 starsThe box arrived packaged very well, probably impossible to see it damaged in shipping. The construction quality is great, the finish and choice of woods are fantastic together, looks like a perfect box to last decades. David did a special engraving and shipped the box quicker than I would have expected. Just a real pleasure to deal with.

My little corner of the world
A couple years prior to retirement, I started putting together a workshop to continue to pursue my interest in woodworking. We were moving into a duplex located in a subdivision providing all the services to enable residents to enjoy retirement without the hassles of mowing, snow removal house painting etc. We were lucky enough to be able to have input on the layout of the basement to accommodate not only the big screen & pool table, but a table saw and other related wood working tools.
by the time retirement rolled around, I had a pretty nice workshop; with most of the tools I had always wanted. After setup, I started thinking of how this shop could be used to supplement our retirement income - - thus was born Clark & Co. The company being my wife and of course our two yorkies. Another fortuitous move was joining the woodworking guilds here in Kansas City. One being the Lee's Summit guild, (our suburb) and the Kansas City guild. This provided the environment to meet like minded individuals and start to really learn about things that slip by most hobbyists. This led to my interest in boxes and my quest to continually up my game. My first boxes were made with the help of a generous Mentor who showed me much to my delight. He also introduced me to Etsy and it's marketing process.
I've been on Etsy a couple years now, and it has ebbed and flowed some, with my ability to focus on work. I enjoy the process of building and selling and look forward to being involved for years to come.
