About

Collecting Vintage and Antique Linen

I've been a vintage and antique linen collector for many years and really enjoy the hunt for new items. This however can create a storage challenge and to overcome this I decided to sell on Etsy. It allows me to continue the search for interesting items and to restore and preserve many things which would otherwise be discarded. I enjoy sewing and restructuring old fabrics into newly repurposed items. I also love new fabrics which I find I can't resist and these are often incorporated into my projects. I have a positive outlook that by letting go of some of my collection I'll find new things and while they are in my possesion I will enjoy and take care of them. And, of course, part of the fun is knowing items are going to a new home. Thank you Etsy!

Welcome to Classic Flair featuring vintage and antique fabrics for the home!

I have enjoyed collecting and using vintage fabrics for quite some time. Handmade laces and embroidered needlework made from skilled hands from another time somehow help to make a connection to people from the past.

All vintage and antique linens and fabrics have been hand washed, dried, and lightly pressed unless otherwise stated. This helps me to determine the condition before sending it on to you. Strange, but I also enjoy this process, even the ironing and pressing.

I also enjoy pairing vintage and present day material to create something new and different and one of a kind.

If you have questions please ask, I'll get back to you as soon as possible.
