Made to order means that when you order a pair of earrings or pendant from me, I specifically create a new item for you! The item pictured in my listing acts as a "model", and is not the exact item you will receive, however your item will be made to look as identical as possible. By using "models" I am able to gauge interest in my products, and focus my time on what is in demand, vs. having an excess of multiple items that may not sell.

The prices for my earrings/pendants are determined by taking in to account the time I spent planning the design, the amount of materials used, and the complexity of the design in general. Some earrings may be smaller and cost more than a larger pair, and this could be due to the fact that their design contains more hand sculpted intricate elements than the larger pair, and thus more time and planning was put into their creation. Each pair of earrings/ pendant is unique, and the price is a reflection of that!

I do accept returns, but I do not accept exchanges or cancellations. I do not accept exchanges due to sanitary reasons. I am not able to resell a pair of earrings that has been worn by another person. I do not accept cancellations, because I make each pair of earrings very promptly and put time and effort in to them as soon as they are ordered.

Most of my listings are not listed as customizable and are sold as pictured, but I am open to doing customizations upon request. I would like to take the extra time to be able to talk to a customer about a potential customization and make sure I understand the idea as you see it in your head.

When baked, polymer clay hardens and cures to a semi-flexible texture. The flexibility is based on how thick the clay is, so thinner pieces will be more flexible than thicker pieces by nature. The clay can sustain small drops that occur with handling jewelry in general, but it still can break. Despite the clay being flexible, please do not purposely bend or manipulate it, as it can also break that way. I would recommend explaining this to younger children if they are receiving these earrings as a gift, etc. to ensure longevity!

To clean your earrings, I recommend using a slightly damp paper towel to remove any dirt/dust/debris, and then wiping it with a dry paper towel immediately after. I DO NOT suggest wearing any jewelry made of polymer clay in the shower/ swimming/ etc. as I cannot guarantee that they will not be damaged when exposed to / submerged in water for a prolonged period of time.

Yes! My earrings' posts and backs are stated as being nickel-free hypoallergenic 18k plated gold, or nickel-free hypoallergenic stainless steel (read the item description of the specific pair of earrings you're interested in). These materials are widely used in crafting/ jewelry making and regarded as safe choices! However, you know what metals work best for you, so I would use your own judgement and experience!
