Who woulda thought...

After having lost touch with my creative side, I thought it would be important to reignite that passion (or at least try to). My professional career has always included work geared towards helping others: from my experience working in a domestic violence shelter, to my current position working with kids with disabilities. I see this shop, and the jewelry I make, as a way to continue to help. There's a special feeling that comes with wearing a unique piece of jewelry. Polymer clay is easily shaped and molded, but once it's in the oven, it's all left up to faith. My hope is that the pieces I create and share will help people remember to appreciate that little imperfection. There's a special feeling that comes with recognizing your own uniqueness.

I was once a perfectionist, often worrying about everything being "right". Working with polymer clay has taught me to roll with the unexpected twists and turns that pop up throughout our lives. I hope my work reminds you to be easy with yourself.
