Announcement   Enter a place of whimsical fantasy where you can find original handbuilt stoneware art pieces to compliment your garden, pond, front porch or home. A shop full of thoughtful and creative gifts to enchant those who are dear to you.

One of my terrific customers gave me this feedback: A flawless transaction. Amazing communication, and beautiful work! I LOVE having your work as a part of our home.

I am a gardening and home decorating enthusiast and am always looking for ways to beautify my home and garden. Home and garden art is your helpful ally. Always handy to hide a sore spot or highlight an exceptional area. It is like a band aid or a halo for the special needs of your home and garden.

I feel as though all of my creations are my babies. I fall in love with them and nurture them to maturity, which isn't always such an easy process. They grow up to be pretty tough cookies; they will not warp or fade even if they spend a century outside since they are made from freeze resistant high fire stoneware clay. To ensure the safety of your piece I would still recommend that you take them inside during the winter.

I realize that my shipping prices are a bit high. The reason for this is because I must use expandable foam to prevent breakage and it is pricy. It is worth it to have your creation arrive in one piece.

I have been adding some in process pictures to my ClaySoul Facebook FanPage. If you want a sneak peak at what is coming to my shop next, here is the link: http://www.facebook.com/pages/ClaySoul/104807371586.

I am proud to be a member of the CAST team (Christian Artists Street Team) http://team.etsy.com/profilest/cast.shtm and the Spiritual Elegance Team.

Quite thrilled with my new garden sculpture; it really adds a dimension much larger than its physical size. Shipping was near instant, and came extremely well packed. Thank you!

About

How ClaySoul Came About

When I was younger and raising children I would find time to be creative here and there. I sold my pieces at arts & crafts fairs with good success. My medium was polymer clay (much cleaner than clay) and I made miniatures to go in shadowboxes.
I had taken pottery classes in high school and college and always enjoyed working with clay. Alas I had no kiln, until, I ran into an old friend who had become a full time potter. She had a kiln and she was willing to let me use it. She also taught me a lot about firing and glazing pottery. As time went on I purchased my own used kiln and started firing on my own.
As before I was still attending art shows and it was a lot of work. Then a friend of mine told me about etsy. I was intrigued and gave it a shot and am I glad I did. Esty really helps artists expand their market. I am so grateful.
All of my pieces are one of a kind, signed originals. I use no molds and each piece is individually made. My pieces will not warp or fade over time so they qualify as keepsakes. They will last generations given careful handling. I am the only member of ClaySoul.
Take a peek at my ClaySoul FaceBook page and you will be able to see my in process pictures. There are also some pictures of my garden. If you are interested copy and paste this link:

Creating my garden art brings me great satisfaction and joy and allows my fantasies to live and breath. Well maybe not breath but my creations come alive to me; they are like my babies. I hope they can bring you a bit of happiness.
