I've bought several pairs of beautiful earrings from Cleopatra. This is my favorite pair so far! The colors are even more vivid and sparkling than the photo shows. I get compliments on them whenever I wear them.

Gorgeous earrings. You cannot wear these and not have a smile on your face - the colours are such a delight. I purchased the matching necklace some time ago, and am so pleased to now have the complete set. Beautiful, unique jewellery!

About

Beauty that lasts

When I started making jewelry, it was never my intention to start a shop. I had found Etsy and was happy to find a place where I could find so many different supplies all together. One day, one of my suppliers was interested in what I did with all her material and she asked me for some pictures. When she got them, she convinced me to open a store. Soon after I opened my shop, I made my first sale. Staring at my screen, I thought the lady who ordered my earrings had made a mistake. ;). Well, she clearly hadn't and many more sales followed after that. I still feel excitement whenever I have a sale - knowing customers value my work is the best feeling in the world!.

Shop policies

Last updated on July 16, 2014
My philosophy is very simple: I strive to make original jewelry that lasts, and build a good rapport with the customers who decide to support my creative endeavour. I am and will remain grateful for every order - big or small - and love to hear your feedback.

If you see something you like, but would prefer to spread payments, lay-away is always a possibility. Just convo me and we will work something out.

I accept special commissions or custom work, but please be aware that after mutual agreement on design and price, you are buying the finished piece, not the copyrights.
All design rights, or the rights to reproduce remain my intellectual property.

Payment
Customs dues, taxes, fees etc. according to the obligations of the country where the goods are shipped to, are the responsibility of the customer.

According to EU guideline, buyers have the right to cancel an order within a 14-day window. In case your parcel has already been sent, my shop return policy (see refund policy) applies.
Shipping
Shipping is done after PayPal or other payment clearance, and at the first chance I get. Usually I can ship once a week (Monday until Friday), and on Saturdays. I will always let you know when I think I can get to the post office, and will send you a confirmation mail on the day your parcel went out.

Mail is regular ground/air mail, non-insured. Although mail is quite reliable, I don't take responsibility for items getting lost in the mail. If you choose registered mail I will gladly get accurate additional information for you.
Refunds and Exchanges
My jewelry is securely wrapped with loads of bubble wrap and cardboard to protect it on its journey. In the event something would get broken or damaged during transport, please take some pictures so I can assess what went wrong. We can then work out a solution according to the damage that occurred.

If you are not happy with your purchase you can return it within 14 days of delivery. Return shipment should be carefully packed the same way as it was sent and it should be shipped registered/signed for. Shipping costs will not be refunded.

Return policy does not apply to custom-made products.
Additional policies and FAQs
My pictures are always taken at the same spot, next to a big window and I always use natural light. Variations in color due to different monitors are unavoidable.

I am not a gemologist therefore I have to rely on the info supplied by my suppliers.

Even some undyed, natural stones can fade when exposed to sunlight. So avoid exposure to direct sunlight if you can.

A little note about caring for your gemstones:
Make sure you store your jewelry out of direct sunlight because a lot of gemstones, including amethyst, citrine, smoky quartz and others can fade in sunlight. Opals also require extra special care. Don't put your opal ring on the window sill when washing your hands or the dishes, as strong sunlight can dry out the water in opals which could cause hazing or color change and always avoid heat. Pearls should also be treated with particular care as scratches, perfumes and household chemicals which can wear away the nacre or cause color change quite easily. Emerald gemstones should also never be stored near heat.
Besides chlorine, bleach, denatured alcohol, turpentine, acetone, and ammonia can cause harm. These chemicals can dull or even pit the surface on softer gemstones. Petroleum based products can actually melt amber if allowed to remain on the stone and they can do significant damage to pearls. These Gemstones are soft and porous. Long-term exposure to chemicals such as hairspray, cosmetics, and perfume may damage these organic Gemstones, especially pearls.
Never use toothpaste or other abrasives to clean metal or stones. Toothpaste will also scuff the surface on amber, lapis, turquoise and other soft stones resulting in the fine polish which was produced by the skilled lapidary to be permanently marred.
Be very careful when using any soaking method to clean jewelry that has soft stones such as amber, lapis lazuli, or turquoise. Extended soaking in any solution may harm the polish on the stone.
Always store your Gem stones separately to avoid scratches from harder gems. If possible, store each piece in a separate box. Soft stones like lapis, malachite, turquoise, amber and opals can easily be scratched by pin stems and the edges of other jewelry. Protect these gemstones by wrapping them in jeweler's tissue and storing separately.
Put your jewelry on last when dressing, so avoiding spraying with perfume. If you are going to wear perfume, put it on first and then put your jewelry on.
