I originally started on Etsy selling recycled crayons. After a while, I realized that people were often times purchasing my crayons to use as party favors. My favorite creative media has always been paper, so once I discovered the need for party favors, I began creating items like straw flags and cupcake toppers. Then one day a customer asked me to put together a set of mustaches for her wedding. After I cut each mustache out and glued them onto sticks, I naturally had to test them out. I must have stood in front of the mirror for half an hour trying on each mustache, making faces, and laughing at myself. I decided then that photo booth props were going to be my next project and I haven't looked back!

I now focus solely on making photo booth props. Coming up with ideas is sometimes difficult, especially with so many other prop shops on Etsy, but I always strive to be different. I want to offer you unique designs that you can't find anywhere else on Etsy (beware of CleverMarten imitations). I bounce many of my ideas off of my husband, Mark (you can find him modelling in some of my prop photos). He also provides ideas, inspiration, and feedback for my products, listings, and shop.

Crafting and designing has always been my biggest passion. Whether it be paper or pixels, nothing gives me more excitement than creating something new and being able to share it with someone else.
