I actually bought two pairs of these earrings with different patterns. They shipped and arrived quickly and were packaged so that the earrings would not be damaged during shipping. Both are the extra-large size and I was surprised by how light-weight and easy to wear they are. They didn't fall all the way to my shoulders so I didn't have to worry about pulling on my clothes, they are great quality so I'm sure they will last many wears, and the designs are beautifully detailed. I love them. Would definitely buy these type of earrings and from this seller again.

When I was told of this shop on Etsy, I admit I thought it would be like every retail website, I was wrong. I knew the business owner was the manufacturer but that it was her alone making these beautiful pieces. Shopping online you know whatever you buy is generally made in a factory by multiple people, and that multiple people have that same item. This jewelry has a unique rarity. One can almost feel smug, knowing that the items purchased from ClockeworkandLace are truly original, if not one of a kind, very rare indeed. The point; I have never seen jewelry made this way before, nor felt as beautifully unique as when i wore them. Some may have the same style of earrings. But Not by ClockeworkandLace so i thank you for your time to make my request and for showing me the art behind my vanity. I can't wait until my next purchase!

A Little About Me

Hello! My name is Christine and I have a love for making things, hot chocolate, cozy sweaters, animals, the great outdoors, yummy food, tea, graphic novels, cute things, morbid things, and many others. I attended California State University, Long Beach to study photography and while there also discovered my love for metal-working and jewelry. My family, friends, the many talented people I’ve met and seen, culture, subculture, nature, the past, present, and possible future are some of the things that inspire me and my artwork. The name "Clockework and Lace" stands for the mechanics and work that goes into creating something delicate and beautiful. I hope you have fun exploring my shop and thank you for your support! :)

Please note that some papers for the origami jewelry are special finds and are limited. It is possible some designs may not be available any longer.

Sterling silver or 14k gold-filled (the closest material to gold without the expense) is used for the jewelry and is good for sensitive ears or skin. Sterling silver is not recommended for ears that are still healing however.

While I try and keep the photographs and colors of the items true, there may be slight variances between computer monitors/displays and settings. Feel free to message me if you have any questions about the color(s) of an item.

Custom pieces are available. Contact me with what you would like and if it is possible for me, I will work with you to make it happen.

If you are purchasing a piece as a gift, leave me a message when you are checking out and if you like I can send it to the lucky person with a personalized message from you.

A portion of all orders is donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and The Humane Society of the United States.

Do you love what you bought? Please leave feedback on the Etsy shop and/or tag a photo with #clockeworkandlace for a chance to be shared on our social media! Jewelry Care and Cleaning:
(General tips and instructions for extending the life of your jewelry.)
• Keep jewelry dry.
• Don’t shower, swim, sleep, do housework, or work out with jewelry on.
• Jewelry should not be left in extreme temperatures or in direct sunlight.
• Beauty products such as hairspray, lotion, and perfume should be put on before the jewelry.
• Wipe off skin oils from jewelry.
• Jewelry should be stored in a dark, cool place. It is recommended that jewelry be stored separately and sealed in a re-sealable airtight bag (such as Ziploc) to help keep it from tarnishing.
• To clean origami jewelry: Take a damp cloth and gently clean the piece (mild soap on the cloth may be used, then wiped off with clean damp cloth). It is not recommended the piece be submerged underwater.
