So soft and fluffy…I love the shape and the wings are nice and snug, without drooping or pulling too much and bunching weirdly. I got the Crimson, and the colour is brilliant but is oh so hard to photograph to show friends! :P

Why Cloth Pads?
Cloth pads are comfortable, soft and beautiful. Use cloth pads exactly as you would a disposable pad, then rinse/soak or dry pail before washing. They are a healthy option for you and the environment.

How do Cloth Pads benefit us?
More breathable and more comfortable than disposables, no accidental waxing!
Comfortable and reusable back-up to a menstrual cup or internal product
Less waste
Made with beautiful fabrics which also include organic options
After initial investment they do cost less overall ... and no more running out

♥ Clothcycle pads are made with the highest quality fabrics.
♥ Internal cores are made from super absorbent 500gms/m bamboo fleece.
♥ Clothcycle pads are serged at the edges allowing for fewer layers of fabric. This makes for a thinner, softer, more comfortable and discrete edge to the pad.
♥ The 4 thread serged edge is extremely durable, making Clothcycle Cloth Pads a quality choice.
♥ Pads are packaged and sent in ecofriendly oxo-biodegradable packaging (excepting parcels using Australia Post mailer bags).

Clothcycle pads are the only stockist of Windpro backed pads in Australia! Pads contain either a hidden PUL lining or alternatively are backed in Windpro fleece. Most liners do not have a wetproof layer. PUL lined pads have a little label sewn to the back of the pad, this sits under the middle of the wing and can not be felt as it lies between your underwear and the wing - its purpose is to indicate the back of the pad. Windpro fleece backed pads do not have a label, the black fleece faces your underwear.

Cores are made from super thirsty 500gms/m bamboo fleece. I also stock Zorb which can be requested in made to order pads.

Within the store there are made to order pad listings. To choose your bamboo velour please visit my flckr page

Pads are available in various styles and shapes:

Pantyliners/Light Pads:
15cm/6" liner and 18cm/7.25" bamboo beautiful liner for spotting, everyday wear or as a back-up to internal product. Pantyliners do not contain a wetproofing fabric layer.
15cm/6" windpro fleece backed light pad, suitable for the end of your period/light spotting, everyday freshness or as a back up to an internal product.

Moderate/Day Pads:
23cm/9" Light and Moderate Pad, for light/moderate flow or back-up to an internal product.

Heavy/Night Pads:
26cm/10" for heavy days or night time use (if you have extremely gushing flow at night a longer pad or a pad with 3 core layers may be needed).
28cm/11" and 31cm/12" for heavy days or night time use.
32cm/12.25" Fantail and 37cm/14.5" for heavy days, night time or post-partum use.

Please read descriptions carefully to ascertain if your pads are in stock or made to order. If your pad/s are made to order this is noted in the title and item description. Further information such as shop policies and care of cloth pads can be found here:

Refunds and Exchanges
Clothcycle pads are represented with the aid of photos and descriptions. Every effort is made to display images which are as true as possible to the actual item you will receive. When multiples of the same pad are available then representation is made by stock photos. This will clearly be noted in the details of the pad description. Colour representation may vary slightly due to monitors or lighting during photography.

Due to the personal nature of these items I am unable to accept returns. If you have any issues with your purchase please do not hesitate to reach out to me in order that we may be able to reach a satisfactory resolution.

Clothcycle is not liable for any items which are lost in transit unless additional tracking/insurance has been purchased in addition to the standard postage charges.
Additional policies and FAQs

Q. How many pads will I need?
A. This is dependent on each individual and how often you do your washing. But as a rough guide, with a cycle of 5 days with 2 heavy days, a stash of 3 night pads, 6-8 regular pads, and 4-6 panty liners is a good starting point. It is good to start small then build up if you feel that you are needing more pads. You can always wash more frequently initially until you get an idea of how many you need! You will need a light stash of pads if you are using the cloth pads as a back up to a menstrual cup.

Q. How absorbent are they?
A. Cloth pads are a similar absorbency to disposables and need to be changed at intervals as you would a disposable pad.

Q. How often should I change my pad?
A. Change your pad when it starts to feel wet or when the flow approaches the edges of the pad.

Q. What is PUL?
A. PUL is an abbreviation of Polyurethane Laminate. This is a waterproof coating which is applied to a base fabric. It is breathable and provides a very effective means for waterproofing a cloth pad.

Q. What is Windpro fleece?
A. Windpro fleece is a high quality polyester fleece which is dense, trim and water resistant. Windpro fleece is not waterproof as is PUL, however many women find that this fleece is more than adequate in maintaining a barrier layer when used in combination with adequate absorbency.

Q. How do they stay in place?
A. They snap around your underwear with resin (plastic) snaps. It is best to wear closer fitting underwear, as you would with a disposable pad.

Q. Can I use my cloth pads right away?
A. Please wash your pads before use. Your pads will become more absorbent in time, reaching maximum absorbency following 5-8 wash and dry cycles.

Q. How do I wash Clothcycle Pads?
A. Rinse pads in cold water then place in a bucket of cold water to soak until washing with cold water. Alternatively rinse after use and apply a little laundry soap before storing damp with you usual wash. You may wash with like colours together with other underwear or clothing. Please do not leave pads damp or in soak water for long periods of time to avoid mould or mildew.

Do not use chlorine bleaches or active soakers.

Sunlight is an excellent stain remover. Squeezing a little lemon juice over stubborn stains before sunning may also aid in keeping your pads pristine :)

Air dry recommended. If using the machine dryer, place on a low setting to avoid heat damage of snaps.

Fabric softeners should be avoided as this hinders absorption of the pad. White vinegar is an excellent fabric softener. This can be added to soaking water - 1tblsp/L, or to the machine rinse cycle.

Q. How do you take care of your pads when out?
A. A small container such as a wetbag or toiletries bag is ideal. A zip lock bag can also be used to carry either dry or used pads in your handbag.

Q. How long do the pads last?
A. The pads will last for approximately 5 years dependent upon how often they are used in each rotation of your cycle.

If you have any other questions, feel free to contact me
