5 out of 5 starsClimbing bridge was well made and as described. Our hermit crabs both love traversing the tank on it - sometimes upside down! This was a great product and purchase experience.

5 out of 5 starsFits in our 29-gallon tank like a glove, and has proven to be strong enough to hold up a half coconut hanger and rope ladder.

5 out of 5 starsBest purchase ever!!! We used to have a tilted wheel that we kept in the crabitat for almost 6 months, and my 3 hermies never even explored it. I replaced it with this one, and two of them them walk on it non-stop all night long! I just wish I had purchased it sooner! Cannot wait for my largest to come up from his molt to check it out. But now I may need to buy another since this one gets so much use!

Hi! I'm Fleabag! I like to poke around the shop with Krusty and sneak into pictures. I wondered why hermit crabs like to live in big sandy litter boxes. Then my buddy Krusty told me they love to eat poop! EEEEW!

Frequently asked questions
Are your items safe for hermit crabs?
We use all our products in our crabitats. We use commonly used items that are considered safe by several popular hermit crab groups. Natural jute, aquarium safe silicone, aquarium safe stones (not dyed), natural shells (no dyes or bleach), crafting mesh, egg crate and foods are always organic when offered or otherwise noted.
We DO NOT treat/clean any of our products. People have their own ways to prep items before placing them in their crabitat. We allow each individual to treat our products as they choose.
Will my hermit crabs use your products?
We wish we could say yes! Hermit crabs all have their own likes and dislikes just like people. Our crabs use everything we offer. Not every crab uses every product, but each item is used by different crabs! Sometimes it takes several weeks for crabs to realize new decor is in their environment such as wheels, and domes. Be patient and give them time to get comfortable around their new toys!
What's up with custom orders? Can I get a custom order?
Yes! Message us if you are looking to purchase multiple items. We often offer a discount based on total order cost. With bundling items into a custom order we save on fees so we extend that saving onto you!
You Do Not List International Shipping. Do you Ship Internationally?
YES! Send us a message if you would like to purchase items outside of the United States. We were charged additional exorbitant fees after going through Etsy's international Shipping. We will personally work with you to make a smooth transaction including reasonable international shipping fees. Working directly with us through the United States Postal Service we will get the best value price.
We ask for a list of items you would like to purchase. Once we prepackage all the items to get an actual shipping weight. From there we can determine the actual cost and adjust items if needed due to weight.
Why is your shop called Coenobita Curiosities?
Coenobita is the genus in the scientific name for hermit crabs. It also reminds us of the Cenobites from the movie Hellraiser. Our Curiosity Cubes also remind us of the Lament Configuration, the puzzle box from Hellraiser. We love horror movies, haunted houses, oddities, and other macabre stuff! Coenobita Curiosities seemed perfect!
Can I Return An Item?
We only accept returns if an item has been received damaged. Message our shop about your order and include pictures so we can better assist you. We ask that this request is completed within 7 days of your order being delivered.
Where Is My Order? It Said It Was Delivered
Once has left our local post office your order is out of our control. We have had issues where the post office scanned items as being delivered rather than being received by us. We also had the post office deliver orders to the wrong address. These shipping issues usually correct themselves, but may delay the arrival time of your order. The fastest way to correct these issues is to contact your local USPS branch with the supplied tracking number.
